Others already explained it... it was a vomit inducing ride, and I never get sick on rides.. Actually, I never got sick on Body Wars either... it was just... lazy WDI work LOL...

Maybe I just have an attatchment to It Idk but It seemed more intense than star tours to me, and it wasn't as goofy so it seemed more like a sense of danger to me. I forgive all tech-shortcommings from the 1980s because you must remember simulators were relatively new stuff then.

Anywho, I forgot what this thread was even bout.....oh yeah :p the point I wanted to make in the first place was that he may be saying bring it on but Its hard to believe that he would think a few diluted versions of grand ideas is going to compete with harry potter. IMHO WWOHP was incredibly well done and despite my disappointment about the scale of the hogwarts building, really does feel really like harry potter, particularly the street scenes and the interiors. Heck the snow was so real looking it looks somewhat insane to see people wearing shorts and t-shirts! When its really hot there you can kinda wish you could jump in the snow :p.

Thats the type of atmosphere i'd like to see for star wars. The kind that when viewed from a certain angle could be a shot from the film and no one could tell! Carsland is basically like that (if the world was 3-d animated and people were cars). Its the kind of place you can't believe is in the same park as something else. For a good example in the Magic Kingdom I always felt so weird thinking about frontierland while in tomorrowland because they were so different that going from space to thunder mountains (opposite ends of the park) seems like traveling between dimensions.

DHS is not like that today. It all just kinda looks the same like a bunch of buildings cobbled together. AK kinda has that problem too in some areas particularly the areas around the upper portion of the park which I could never keep straight. Probably the AK is the park map I'm least familiar with.

^But that's kind of the fun in DAK. You feel like you're lost in Africa and Asia. Spectacular theming if you ask me.

Hmm yeah I do kinda like that now that I think about it. its kinda like an adventure winding through jungles to get to small villages (where rides are) etc. AK I guess can be exempt because It's its own adventure

I rode Transformers in USH and found it to be a poor man's Spiderman. Same basic storyline but no physical sets, no music, no laughs. It reminded me of watching a kid play a hi-tech video game. All style, no substance.
I'm tired of hearing this. There ARE physical sets. Around every screen and in every transition. They just aren't as elaborate as on Spider-Man. Yes, Spider-Man is a better executed ride, but Transformers has an edge in that it is more intense.

And @GLaDOS is right, you should look at Transformers as an appetizer... and a very good one.
