Ewwww....you said the dreaded "A" word. Did I mention that Algebra was the only class I ever got a C in? I hated that class. It probably didn't help that I slept through about 3 classes a week. It was just miserably boring. Congrats on the improvement!

I have a REAL challenge for you.. make it snow in LA. Cause I've NEVER really seen snow... (and NYC snow doesn't count cause it's too dirty to play in lol).

I think I'm being deprived... Never really had snow.. never been skiing... and never really gotten to play in lots of snow :(. LOL

well you know what....you come to Michigan and get buried in like 2 feet of it in one day....if there was a way to send it to you, you could have it all cuz I'm sick of almost dying when I drive home from work from the elusive "black ice" EEEEK!

thoughts of this already scares me :cry:

That´s what I did to have my only "white Christmas": went to Michigan!! Dec.2000, when you had the records for most snow in 75 years! I stayed two weeks, it was BEAUTIFUL, but it´s dark at 5pm and driving under snow, ice, and watching for deer crossing is just too stressing! :animwink:

EXACTLY!!! Last year I was coming home from work at about 10:30....and to those of you who don't know what black ice is, it's the snow that melted when it got warmer and refreezes when it gets colder leaving the snow SEVERELY slippery. Well I was driving home...la la la....no big deal, but then I had to make a sudden stop...and as you may know when you are about to hit something your mind doesn't think "oh hell, it's slippery out" it just thinks "brakes!! now!!!" so yeah....spun my car around :( that scared me soooo bad and I didn't want to drive for a week!

I agree. Although its a LITTLE bit warmer today, it was really cold yesterday.

By the way, where are you from in Michigan. I'm from MI too!

I remember Christmas 2000. The snow was enough to end school early and cancel a band concert that night plus give us two days of school off! That snowfall was nothing like what we got last year at the end of January. It was enough to close school for 2 days giving us a 4 day weekend! WHOOOHOOO! Something like 14 inches of snow or something. Unfortunately I won't be getting anymore snow days until I'm a teacher since I'm at college and colleges are never closed. I really don't have an excuse for missing most of my classes considering they're located in the music building and its a 3 minute walk if I walk fast, which I've been doing a lot this week since its been cold!

I'm from SE, 1/2 an hour north of Detroit, but 10 minutes from Pontiac. I can see the Silverdome and Chrysler Tech Center from my house. But right now, I'm in East Lansing at school at MSU.
