Well I couldnt hold it in any more and we told the kids today about the upcoming trip.. 165 days to go!! They were more than slightly excited..and even more when we told them we were FLYING!

Its so hard, the last few days are the worst though.

Oh I don't know if I could have kept it to them either!! 164 days will be here before you know it!!!!

first year we kept it from them until like 80 days out.. last year they knew from day one..this year we booked while still there and we've kept it from them for 6 months..lol

Not my first choice but it is what it is.. I wont fly anything but non stop and the later non stop is too much $$

Yep- our flight ( our 1st also) leaves @ 7:50 am! Yikes!

Ha! Time for a new and very long countdown! Have him make one of those paper ring chains - that will keep him occupied for awhile!

Love going this time of year. The end of school is fast approaching. I love summer. Always goes by too fast and before you know it, it's time for or September vacation. Always here before you know it!
