It's officially the M&Ms, but everyone in-the-know knows what that means:
Britney Spears will bring her much-hyped comeback performance to House of Blues on Saturday, May 19. Tickets, at $35, go on sale at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, at hob.com.

Her quickie show earlier this month at House of Blues in San Diego inspired mixed reactions from fans, who lamented that it lasted only 20 minutes and complained that it looked like the pop star was lip-synching. A dark wig obscured that famous haircut that made all the tabloids as Britney and a quartet of female dancers did a handful of songs ("...Baby, One More Time" and "Toxic" among them) and split.

Who can resist the chance to see that here?

It was the singer's first public performance since her shortened Onyx Hotel Tour about three years ago. In recent times, she's more famous for incidents involving Kevin Federline, child car-seats and extreme hair-do makeovers.
Tickets for the San Diego show were going for as much as $1,200 amid the crowds outside the club, which pretty much guarantees another circus this weekend at HOB.

Ironic that she returns to Disney grounds to try to restart her failed career.

I used to have the biggest crush on her back in the late 90s (as did any teenage male at that time). In fact I saw her perform at Grad Nite 1999. Its a shame she basically threw her career away.

I find it funny that after her head shaving fiasco that Disney removed any mention of her from the backlot tour spiel. Maybe if this "tour" goes well they will add her back in.

I wish I could get down there for this show. I have read so many reviews about the shows she is doing being pretty good. I really hope she can get her career back on track.

Uhhh....where on earth have you read these, Britney's blog? All I've seen is that she has been lip syncing while chewing gum and giving 10 minute "shows". Not exactly what I'd call "good" by any means.

The price of 35.00 seems like a bargin. I think tickets for the first shows were around 150.00 for a 15 minute show.... thats what 10.00 a minute. at that rate this may be a 3.5 minute show... I have no Respect for this ahem entertainer.. I think that the fact that she lip synchs speaks volumes about her talent.. I think that the voice we hear is not really hers... I smell a conspiracy.... I think she is playing every house of blues in the country,.....

Uhhh...losts of sites and they are by people who have actually seen the show, not just a video of it.

I have seen her live before and I can assure you that she can sing live and she can do it while dancing circles around her back-up dancers. I have a lot of respect for someone who is willing to, while in the oublic eye, pick up her life from the peices it has fallen to and try to make herself to the power house she used to be.

I have been to a Britney Spears concert, my wife and I were fans up until the "Slave 4 U" era ended. Once she was Federline'd it was watching a train wreck in slow motion. Even if I had the good fortune to be at the HOB on that date I wouldn't pay to see the show.

I've saw her live before too, and it was very good! It was also pre-KFed! It's obvious that she's a trainwreck now, I haven't heard a single good report about her recent attempt of bringing her career back. I've heard bad bad reviews about her performance at House of Blues in Anaheim. If they had been good, then I would have considered going on the 19th since I will be in the area anyway.

Thinking of big music star concerts. I wish Disney will make a big on property arena like the Amway arena. That would be a good way of getting people on property and spending money in hotels and at the parks. What does everyone think about an on property arena? And oh ya Britney is cool but not as cool as Madonna.
