I'm with DisneyChik on this one. I have a lot of admiration for someone trying to fix things after screwing them up completely, in the most embarrassing way possible. I hope everything works out for her.

It is being reported that Britney Spears' concert at the House of Blues in Orlando on Saturday night had several performance hiccups.
Perez Hilton was tipped by several concert goers that Britney, like Ashlee Simpson, who lip-synchs her live performances with her prerecorded vocals on CD, had the unfortunate accident of her CD skipping.
"This happened not just once. Not just twice. But four to five times! During her performance of Do Something," says Perez Hilton.
"Several people in the audience started booing," claims Hilton's unnamed source. "It was not pretty!"
The reports from his blog and Orlando news sources cite mixed reviews, some positive, some negative.
The problem was eventually fixed before moving on to the next song.
Hilton's unnamed sources who attended the concert listed other problems at the event, when Spears had another technical snafu with her headset microphone.
"She was rolling on the ground dancing and her face microphone broke and was hanging down at her neck.. and she was embarrassed again!!! So she tried to push it back up and it went up to her forehead... and then back down to her chest."
Spears is scheduled to perform in Miami next.

Not trying to defend her lip-synching, but Perez Hilton is generally full of it. His "souces" have often been found to be stories he has made up and he has been cited as one of the most unreliable celebrity bloggers. On the other hand, I am not saying she could not have had a horrible show. It happens to the best of them.

I am not trying to be crass but I have to say it...
I would rather watch paint dry while listening to a cow peeing on a rock than see Britney Spears live.:hurl:
I used to think she was gorgeous and I liked some of her music, I even bought her greatest hits cd but now she has just become a parody of herself. She needs to hang up the music thing and just focus on acting.

Oh c'mon. Regardless of the source that this particular review came from, it is a well known fact that BS uses pre-recorded music.

:lookaroun IMO, I'm really on the fence on how I feel about Britney and "supporting" her.
To be honest, I think she could act, or better yet, be a better Mom and maybe the people around her could be more supportive of doing more things with her two sons.
I know I can't say too much about it because I don't know what goes on behind closed doors. But seriously, she's almost never seen with her kids unless it's brought up multiple times in the media.
For example, most gossip sites and magazines were staying things like What's wrong with Jayden?...Why haven't we seen him?...He's been in hiding longer than Suri Cruise was... etc.
Then suddenly out of the clear blue sky, she's seen with him sans blanket. Or, why is it that we hadn't seen her with Sean for awhile, then it's in the media that she's isn't doing things with her kids and then suddenly Sean Preston's back in her arms every day.
If I was her or if I could ever offer her any advice, I'd be more focused on making things better with my family rather than being concerned about a few 10-15 minute "come back" sessions.
Maybe more people would be kinder to her if they saw her making an effort to put her life back together instead of just a few weeks in a rehab that she supposedly didn't even support going to.
Otherwise, I had to get a chuckle out of her being "officially" caught lip-syncing instead of it being a rumor.

Face microphone broke...Well if she had of purchased a decent mic system, it wouldn't have broken...but then again why bother if you're not even using it as a microphone.

I'm sorry but I saw the picture in my paper this morning, I live in Lakeland which is very close and apparently our paper needed something for the entertainment section (note to self write letter to editor and tell them BS is not entertainment in 80% of America's book). Neways for a woman who has made some money in her time she sure cant find a decent wig it was like strapped on her head with one of those cotton head bands that everyone wore in the 90's. To boot it was like an extremley plasticy looking, it was shiny but just a little to shiny! Shame on you entertainment editor, shame, shame....:brick:

Actually, she has extensions now for some ungodly reason. They look horrible. I can't stand the way extensions look on anyone.
