Damn, she actually had the guts to do that? Hearing about her giving the Universal One Arm Salute to the press is enough to make me a fan...

 Ok, lets go beyond "hearing" about it shall we? lol

Mr. Tramp.. There is such a thing as giving (Or getting as the case may be) the full story.

Britney's second concert at Foro Sol was cancelled due to heavy rain, very strong winds, and a hell load of lightning. Britney performed "Oops I Did It Again", "Crazy","Boys", and "Stronger" and after that she said "I'm Sorry Mexico, I'm so sorry. I love you. Goodbye". Britney did not get back on stage, and later, a representative announced on the speakers that it was going to be decided tomorrow whether or not a refund was to be made or if the concert was going to be rescheduled. (A refund will be issued to all ticket holders who present a stub) After this happened, the crowd of 56,000 fans started screamed (translating here) "Let her get wet. Let her get wet" and later a group started screaming "Fraud, Fraud!". I think that what the Mexican fans did not understand was that a show such as the Dream Within a Dream Tour endangers Britney, the dancers, the band, and the crew if performed during torrential rain. (Not to mention extreme safety concerns over the audience's wellbeing.) Due to the show having bungees, pyrotechnics, wireless mics, and many special effects, many of which require trememdous amounts of electricity the effect of rain could seriously mess things up. In fact, while performing Stronger Britney slipped and nearly twisted her ankle while dancing. So by god's will, Britney's concert had to be cancelled. Let's wait and see what's gonna happen now, but oh my oh my, this visit to Mexico, man......god I just hope it'll blow over and that Britney can just take her well deserved vacation ! (She has not had more then 3 days off in nearly 2 years, plus her aunt who already has cancer had a stroke last night, her grandmother died recently, her brother has become addicted to alchohol and her main choreagrapher, Wade Robson's, father passed away the same night as her aunt's stroke add that onto the stress of her career and you've got one frazzled 20 year old.)

Great, it's starting all over again.

Not really. I just get so sick of people putting everything she does in the most negative light. Before making someone look bad, you should always try to get the full story first. You say it was bad for her to cancel the concert? SO, you think it would have been better for her to endanger the lives of nearly 6,000 people? That just doesn't seem right to me. Also, to put more into a positive light, consider this: those Mexican fans got 4 songs for free. They're getting a refund. You can say I'm hurting my credibility by supporting and continuing to be loyal to her. But guess what? That's what being a fan is all about. I know you guys don't give a f*ck about her, so I don't plan on starting any more threads. But I will respond if someone else starts one. Specially if they're trying to put her into a negative light without the full story. I don't go for that.

I beg of you all, please don't say another word about Britney.

In addition to only performing four songs, the artical I read said the crowd was upset because it was clear she was lip-syncing. That's where the "fraud, fraud" came from.

I realize lip-syncing is a common practice nowadays. The performers claim they want to sound good, and all the dancing gets them tired. Isn't a concert supposed to be to hear a band or performer perform live? If you want to see dancers, go to the ballet.
