Maybe something for the twins too....small functional Disney baby item....:happy: And God bless you for thinking of her AND for making it happen....I would be rather depressed to miss a trip and the love shown to show her YOU will miss her and she is in your thoughts will counterbalance a great deal. Be her Prince Charming! :D

I wonder - with the Disney Parks Shopping App and all the stores around - should there be a question as to what else is available - if you could exchange it for something more "her style" after the trip. Not trying to put a damper on an extremely thoughtful idea - just thinking outloud of possibilities so you're both thrilled with the gift.

I personally love the hot pink mickey icon quilted crossover bag by Vera....I wanted it in black, but no longer available, think you can still find the pink version. Sigh.....yes a Disney purse purchased is a good idea.....might not buy for self but would not say no to a gift! :)

Perhaps you may not like them, but there are folks who do, like myself. Never cared for Pandora until I started a tradition: I pick up a charm at Disney that is related to the trip. I actually add charms related to other vacations and milestones (like when the boys were born). They may not be Tiffanys but I wouldn't say it looks like "dime store junk".

First... Congratulations on the twin new editions.

I would keep my smartphone handy in the "record" mode and have every cast member and guest you strike up a conversation with say "Hi" to your wife and twins. Text her the recordings often, and keep them and make a little movie when you get back. In a few years your twins will have fun watching a lot of people they don't know saying "Hi" to them. It will add to the Magic.

I agree....most of the women in my extended family love theirs....and its the charms they get from family for special occasions that makes it special, much like a modern charm bracelet of yesteryear.....they are expensive, and being a fairy who prefers yellow gold, it never attracted me, plus I am not so much a trendy Tink, BUT those Disney charms just spoke to me and made me consider whereas I never wanted to even consider one prior. I do not think they look junky. That said, most females are pretty vocal about whether they like Pandora bracelets or not, and it would not be difficult to ascertain if she thinks they are special, another female relative could "bait" her to find out how she feels about Pandora bracelets in general, so if she likes Pandora, and loves Disney how could you go wrong? For all I know she already has a bracelet and a special charm would be just the thing! I feel an expecting Mom needs a little extra bling to pull out to help counterbalance all those endless hours of feeding and diapers and the rest of the story.

Of course I am very happy with a recent purchase from an Etsy craft maker who makes bead bracelets out of Disney Park maps.....when I put it on it makes me smile.....:D....and the price was dime store.....;).

I'm assuming you're having a laugh, and I think I've seen you joke about this before if I'm associating the avatar with the right post, but there hasn't been a measles infected person at Disneyland for over a year, and that was due to lack of vaccinations by children too young for the vaccine and stupid parents, anyway. "Most belong to a tight-knit religious community with a low vaccination rate. Many who fell ill in the Disneyland episode were not immunized against measles. Some cited personal reasons for refusing shots, and others were too young to get the measles-mumps-rubella vaccine."

Also, assuming expenses are the same and the parks do not have a measles outbreak, I'd guess a trip to another park that is safe for his wife and includes her is better than a trip that is missing members of the normal party.

Well, now, that's the rub. DL, from my research, tends to be a bit more expensive overall.

We promised our nieces a trip to Disney World and we decided to not go back on that. She asked us to go without her, rather than cancelling altogether.

Good, I was thinking 3 very young girls....but they should be able to help you out, and 4 is a nice number for rides that require 2 per seat. Well it will give you practice for taking 3 in the future!!!! :D

It will be four in the future, my wife is pregnant with twins, my daughter is 9 and I have a 2 year old son, that is staying home with mommy (he freaks out anytime she leaves for more than a few hours).

Goodness! This will be a walk in the park, literally, then! No double stroller required! Nice ages....2 is rather rough for an all day park excursion anyhow.
Hope you have a wonderful time while trying to please all those females in your life! :)
