I just thought of another thing I would love to bring home. I would love to turn my kitchen into the 50's Prime Time Cafe with an unlimited supply of Old Fashioned Pot Roast. :slurp:

I’ve come up with a Pot Roast that is close to that of 50s Prime Time Café. First, get a chuck roast with as much fat in it as possible. If it doesn’t look like it has at least 20% fat keep looking. The more fat the better.

In a crock pot put one onion (cut into 1/8s), Worchester sauce (sp?), garlic, salt, pepper, dill and 3 bay leaves. Put in the roast and then fill the crock pot with beef bouillon. Cook for 10 hours on high. Serve with mashed potatoes and green beans. YUM!!!!

...But my other option: I would take "O Canada" and splice together footage of Bob and Doug Mackenzie, Red Green, POV of the daily morning drive-thru line for Tim Horton's, my beloved Leafs losing a typical game due to lack of defense, and lots and lots of snow.

Because CLEARLY the original show hasn't perpetuated our stereotypes for the past 20+ years nearly as much as one would like. :lookaroun
