Oh boy I sure hope so. My high school classmate was the first Timekeeper host, and I'm sure she would love this too!

Robin Williams was a favorite comic and dramatic actor of mine. His timing and improvisational work was and probably will always be unmatched. Disneys choice to have him voice the Genie and giving him the ability to improvise much of his parts was a stroke of genius. Their decision not to have him return was a blunder.

I'd like to see something in place to honor his contributions in the performing arts... but not sure just bringing back the Timekeeper would be tribute enough. With his performing talents lets have something that is more recognizable that will showcase his many gifts. He deserves a bust in DHS plaza.

RIP... Joining his friend Christopher Reeves.

Well, they could just move Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor to the American "Idle" building since that show is closing at the end of the year.

Also, rework Stitch to include the Phil Hartman preshow.

I voted no and not because I didn't like Robin Williams, but, because I am still mad a Disney for bringing Captain EO back. I still feel that it was a shameless exploitation of a dead star. I don't think that it would be much different if done with Robins image.

That sentiment aside, it couldn't happen. Captain EO only required putting the film in the projector, reprogramming the theater back to the original set up, which I'm sure was saved on tape someplace. It was quick and easy. Besides that 360 degree element of the show would require projectors that probably no longer exist, animatronics that more then likely have been melted down or sold for scrap by now and the fact that it was complained about constantly because the soft people of today didn't like to have to stand up for it. (I'm not sure how you see a 360 movie in a seated position), but what do I know. It's just wishful thinking. If only the Genie were here to make it happen!

Just to be honest about the Timekeeper, as well as Robins great dialog in it, whoever programed the animatronic was spot on. That thing had many of Robins mannerisms and the timing was superb. It's to bad it wasn't appreciated for the fantastic show that it was. It's also the reason why we can't have nice things in Disney anymore. Dumb them down and for heavens sake let us sit down.

Loved that show and would see it each trip until it was closed. I find the Laugh Factory to be cute, but the Timekeeper was better and more appropriate for Tomorrowland. Can it even be put back in? Is the film, projectors and animatronics still around?

It would be nice if they brought back timekeeper, but I don't think it would be feasible or as easy to bring back as it was to bring back Captain EO.

I'd love to see Timekeeper's return. It's a joy to listen to on my iPod. Also, I'd like to see a Genie pose or poses added to the Magic Shots.

And yet, The Legend of Jack Sparrow still squats at DHS, what with it's completely standing room only, not even any lean rails.

I never once experienced Time Keeper. Personally I could care less if they brought it back or not. I am not a fan of the laugh floor either. But I understand the nostalgia factor.

Yea, but it is a much shorter show. The lean rails were to give people something to hang onto. Those 360 movies, when filmed properly, can throw off many a persons balance or sense of balance. Then the rails were used to sort of steady oneself during those times. Either way, it won't be back and I'd bet my vast fortune on it. :joyfull:

If Disney scans the the films into Digital format. Color match and get the synchronization, and that is the easy part, get a whole new set of projection (not the 70" that they use for EO) It can be replicated, at least the projection part. The Animatronics is a whole different story.
