Bring back Horizons

heck...do it right....bulldoze WoL, re-create carbon-copy Horizons building, and put "New Horizons" inside!
Since we are dreaming here and they would never do it anyway, I agree bulldoze WoL and recreate the original building.

I was just trying kill to birds in this hypothetical; reuse the WoL building they recently fixed the roof and bring back Horizons is some form.

Since Horizons is non IP, the next idea in this hypothetical would be to build an inside out ride in the WoL building.

Just like the original Imagination ride will never come back, sadly Horizons and any form will never come back.

Both were great while they lasted but they are both gone forever.

What we have to look forward to is either coasters or trackless screen based attractions.

If you are going to go through the time/hassle/money of replicating a historical EPCOT ride, it should be the original Journey into Imagination.

It’s fun to discuss bringing back Horizons and the original Imagination but we all know neither will happen mostly because it would be the equivalent of Disney admitting they made a mistake and we know that will never happen.

Not so much them admitting they were wrong but Disney has long held the position that once something is taken away, it's not coming back. The premise that it is no longer relevant and we must not look backwards but forward. What must happen is to bring in the new, the next thing, the state of the art attraction that drives the bookings. Horizons had its run so now forget about it, move on.

Agreed.

Horizons was amazing, and I would love a new version of it, but it wouldn't make any sense to rebuild the original. Most of it would need modernization.

The original JII, on the other hand, would be just fine right now (that's not to say it wouldn't potentially benefit from some minor updates, but it wouldn't be obviously outdated like Horizons).
