I think when the public unanimously agrees, "It blows," that's all the angles you need to look at.

I'm sorry but that was freaking hillarious. I don't care if you agree with that post or not, that was one funny line.

I think we know the time-scale was about a year, and the budget was $10 million (which I guess a huge chunk went on 6 mega audio-animatronics, and another huge chunk went to an outside animation company).

I don't think you can say "Disney did what it thought best", you have to break that down further. I guess the lead Imagineer* did what he thought best with the time and budget, which I'm sure he's feeling the heat for now.... but did the accountants/management do the best for this attraction (ie , make WDI bid for the contract, outsource the animation whilst shutting down the people next-door who actually drew the feature film  )?

*and he wouldn't BE a lead Imagineer without experience in his field, no? I wonder how many of the middle-mangement are straight in from Business school/other companies?

10 mil is a very limited budget.

I would agree with the assumption that most of that went to the AA, and little went to the story.

However, I, personally, think the SGE story is good. But I'm the only one.
