The sign looks great!

I'm also not seeing the problem with the umbrellas. They look fine.

I don't mind the umbrellas either I think they look fine. But I think the problem people have with them is the fact that they sort of stick out. They are terribly bright in an area with lots of earth tones (entrance to Adventureland). But hey I bet those same people who are complaining now will be thankful they are there next time they need a break form the hot FLA sun. :p

But they DO match the area they are in... Main Street.

Yeah, I see that and I think it is a valid argument. However, I am indifferent on the umbrellas and their colors. I think they are ok, nothing more. I never go to Adventureland that way, so I'll never really notice them :)

Look at the tower in the background. Obviously a new paint job, no? It almost looks like gunpowder or burn marks on the window there... Like cannonfire has come from it. Very nice. Me likey. :sohappy:

Edit: Also noticing the pirate flag coming out of the window... That wasn't there before was it? So I'm getting that pirates had a battle with the fortress, took the tower, and placed the flag. Anyone else reading that?

But the one thing people fail to realize is all it takes is a month or so for the colors to become muted by the sun anyway. So really by the end of the summer they will change to more earth tones. Unless of course they have used some sort of color-fast fabric that resists fading.

Ahh good eye, I didn't even notice that. Yes the powder burns do seem to be new. Maybe they will add new speakers/sound effects to the cannons outside and bring those back to life, the powder burns surely point that way.

Screw the parrot, he was a novelty. THIS, though, would be FABULOUS! Please, WDI, please!

Yeah as of the last few years, the sound effects for the cannons outside the attraction were barely loud enough to hear over the sound of the compressed air escaping the cannons, it really didn't do the effect justice. I hope they add subwoofers outside the attraction and give as much attention to the external cannons as they do the ones inside.:D

I like the new pirates sign too!

I wonder if the old letter faced signs and parrot are gonna come back though.... :brick:

I was a little surprised by the "lived in look" given to the clocktower...

Needs to be toned down a bit....adventureland is supposed to be greenish..and it just seems that the bright colors are distracting...dunno just my opinion. I guess I would've used more earthly tones.

I'd understand your point if they were in Adventureland...but it really is Main St/Hub...

EXACTLY!!

I think the angle of the picture is what is throwing people off here. It appears as if they are right next to the entrance to Adventureland. When in fact they are right by the hub, well before the bridge that leads to Adventureland.
