Is a second-level entry and exit coming to the Magic Kingdom Ferry Boat?
Work is taking place in three areas around the Seven Seas Lagoon related to the Magic Kingdom Ferry Boat.

Anyone know anything about this?

Must be for the walkway to the new resort they will add between Contemporary and Travel center......
yes, just joking... maybe
Looks more like gangway to me than a bridge. So boat related would make sense.Anyone know anything about this?

Yes, details at https://www.wdwmagic.com/transporta...it-coming-to-the-magic-kingdom-ferry-boat.htmWhat do you mean by second level unload?
Are you talking about the big ferry that comes from TTC?
But that few minutes saved means the ferry can head back sooner and pick up from the TTC again. So the number of guests moved from TTC to MK in an hour will go up. Yes guests might then be waiting at the tapstiles to enter but it means more will be on the MK side of the lagoon.I guess this will speed up the ferry service by a couple of minutes. But doesn’t help the bottleneck that will be created when everyone tries to get into the park at rope drop.
Doesn’t seem like money well spent to me. Saves a few minutes.
It’s being built and staged there to then be moved to its intended locationThe larger ferries only service MK. Building accommodations for them at CR makes no sense.
CR has tons of other construction anyway so building it here generates no extra mess and keeps the TTC looking tidier. The larger ferries only service MK. Building accommodations for them at CR makes no sense.
Fair question -- but I always assumed that with a water depth of ~14ft the upper deck would be above water if one sank. Obviously there are other types of emergencies.I feel like this is more for emergency exit than normal ops?
