Brer Frog Missing

I Was On Splash Mountain On Monday And On The First Crank Where Brer Frog Is In A Rocking Chairt Telling You The Story Of Brer Fox. Brer Frog Is Not There Anymore. So I Wonder, What Happened.

Also The Cannon That Shoots At Guest Walking Was Malfunctioning. Instead Of Shooting At Guest Walking, It Shot At Guest Riding. It Would Shoot A Powerfull Jet, But Not Like The One It Normally Does. The Water Shot Right At Guest Crossing The Briar Patch On The Boat. It Wouldnt Turn Off Either. It Just Kept Squirting

Might I suggest turning off CAPS lock? If you write a post in all caps, the forum software automatically changes it so that every word begins with a capital letter.

With so many individual show elements, Splash Mountain is very prone to having any number of little things not working at any given time. It's likely Bre'r Frog was just taken out for a little maintenance. He'll probably be back from his vacation pretty soon. As far as the water cannon...well, it is Splash Mountain, but that does sound like a little bit too much. Did you mention it to one of the Cast Members at unload?

Odds are that they're just fixing a problem with the Brer Frog AA. It happens from time to time.
As to the bridge cannon...that's notoriously problematic. Every time they fix it, it just breaks again. Occasionally they even get it working well enough to spray a fine mist on the bridge. During my training, we were riding one chilly morning and the cannon went off just hard enough to reach our boat. It was the equivalent of dumping a 5-gallon bucket of water in our laps. That was the wettest I'd ever gotten before or since, and why the Bridge Cannon and I are sworn enemies.

Yea, I noticed when I was there about 2 wks ago that brer frog wasnt there either. And that darn cannon had made me so angry, and that other cannon that shoots all that water on you before you go up the second lift. I really wish they had turned those thangs off as cold as it was.

Anyways, I also noticed that the chicken, or bird/vulture I guess, the one on the left before you go up for the big drop wasnt moving at all. And the brer rabbit before the big drop mouth wasnt moving either.

Yeah, just after the first lift, as you make your way around the curve to the second one. You can see the pipe sticking out of the water pointing straight out at the bridge where people stand to watch. It caught us totally unprepared because it was supposed to be broken. We were sitting there holding our CM rain gear waiting for the other Crossfire cannons that go off every time a log goes down, but we were totally unprepared for the Bridge Cannon to dump on us. There's nothing better than meeting your new co-workers for the first time with soaking wet pants...

Yea we were dumped on. lol. But it didnt surprise us. the canon was just contnousily shooting water out.

I don't care why they were broken, just get them fixed. Having this many effects either malfunctioning, not operating, or just plain missing is unacceptable.

Yup, Brer Frog was missing the whole week of April 16th-22nd. I also noticed the one water cannon you pass on your way to the lift before slippin falls was malfunctioning as well. It would just let out a little gust of water that would total wet everyone on the log passing it. Let's hope they get that fixed :wave:

That Was The Most Soked I Have Ever Gotten On Splash Mountain, Because Of That, And I Think There Was More Water Than Usual In The Ride. Also Brer Rabbit At The Top Of The Final Lift Was Malfunctioning Aswel.

Nope, the projection effect in the queue was not working as well, no shadow of Brer Frog on the rocking chair :shrug:
