Breaking News...Fifth Gate

There are people who will never believe anything, especially something this big. These are the same people who still don't believe Avatar is coming. I ask just to stretch your imagination and take a close look. For all we know, this could be just one of those Blue Sky concepts that they're exercising that is far from being green lit. You know they do do this?

A 5th gate would be nice to help with crowd levels, but the following would have to happen before WDW could even revisit the idea of a 5th gate:

  1. MK projects done
  2. GFV done,
  3. Disney Springs Done
  4. DHS gets a full makeover
  5. EPCOT gets some revitalization
  6. AK gets something new
  7. And hello the poor state of the all star rooms
  8. Not to mention another DVC

So I wouldn't expect to hear talks of another park until I am a grand parent....LOL

Really doubt they'd be working on a 5th park this early on. Like many have stated they still need to fix the current parks. And even if they fix the existing parks, and if a 5th park is announced and built, it will probably be another AK and mgm, a half day park for the majority of people. So it would be creating a problem rather then finding a solution.

I want to believe.
You know, even in the ridiculous there's truth. Put any of those people under hypnosis and they really believe they were abducted. Were they? Well, they are not lying about what they experienced. What did they experience? Logically, it couldn't be aliens - AS WE KNOW THEM TO BE.

Superimpose a close up of a white cat's face over an Grey's face and guess what! They match. These people also own cats. The logical conclusion is that they were in a state of light sleep with their eyes open as they looked into the eyes of their cat who were hovering over them and that image became part of whatever they were dreaming.

Lesson out of this is aliens exists and their in our homes. Say meow.

Oooh...that's delightfully clever!
I'm flattered, and that would be pretty clever, but I posted what I found as I found it. I wasn't even looking for it. I was preparing my monorail proposal (which I still have to finish and post) and this became a side track. Honestly, I thought I was looking at something off-property and I was intrigued by its Magic Kingdom-like appearance, which is why I had to take a closer look. When I realized I was looking at undeveloped Disney property, my work went from monorail research to trying to understand what I was looking at!

Probably because over the past couple of weeks this OP's "news and rumors" has included a secret deal between Comcast and Disney to allow Marvel in WDW, a monorail expansion, and now this load of b#ll#cks.....
I've pretty much gotten to the point where I take everything he posts with a grain of salt, if I'm not already ignoring it to begin with.

Because its inaccuate and misleading. And what wm49rs just said.

Its someone I used to respect that is now just trolling for responses.
He was actually a legit poster once upon a time? Wow.
And as somebody else said, I highly doubt they would cross over the 429 with development.

The same effect can be made by adding on to there current parks
Yes, this is true, but that's wishful thinking on our part. In my monorail research, I discovered how "out of land" or "short on land" some of the existing parks are, especially DHS. EPCOT has one free plot in FW (demolishing WoL would make two) and a bunch in WS. MK can create new areas by moving things around but that's expensive. DHS expansion would require the build-out of parking structures (more on this in my monorail proposal I will post later today), rerouting World Drive, or building bridges or tunnels under World Drive - expensive. The cheapest way to add a lot of new stuff is to build on virgin land that already has infrastructure and services. The plot in my post has new roads and infrastructure leading into it. If there were a new gate, this is the best location for it.

Another tactic they could do is "trick" Comcast into thinking they were constructing a fifth gate by setting up a fake construction site that looks like a theme park going into it. Comcast, in turn, cranks up their spending only to be yelled out by their shareholders for spending billions unnecessarily on a defense on presumed competition that is in actuallity non-existent. This would force them to freeze spending indefinately and allow Disney to deliver USO a strategic 1-2 punch based entirely on demand - or even cause pressure for Comcast to get out of the theme park business.

What are you talking about? I've always been a legit poster. Also, what do you mean "cross over the 429?

Any who doubts my legitamacy, I advise you search my posts from 2006.

I said outright that that was a joke (the secret deal). The rest I am sincere about.

Most of what I've seen you post since I've been here are in the vein of this one. I'm not doubting that you probably had a lot of constructive posts, but in my time of being here your posts have come off as trolling. And, 429, the toll road. My bad.

No disrespect intended, but I think you're making a major stretch here.
Looking at what you circled on the map, I just don't see what you think you see there.
I was going to highlight everything but I would be accused of tampering. I can still do that and you can look at both side by side to see that I'm only enhancing what's already there.

No, you've been quite earnest every time (and in all of the threads you've either discussed it or started new ones) about your having uncovered these "secrets." Which is why you opened this thread in News & Rumors. But until ground actually breaks on any of them, Imagineering or another forum is where they'll end up....

Looks to me like the area that was supposed to be Flamingo Crossings. It's in the right location...
That's the best explaination other than a Fifth Gate. Can someone overlay a map showing precisely where Flamingo Crossing is supposed to be? I want to make sure this is outside of that project. If it is entirely within that project, then that's what it is.
