I need some advice. We are staying at the Poly and are going to EPCOT and want some ideas for breakfast. We are already eating at kona café one day and would like something different. We would also like something either on the Resort Monorail line or in EPCOT. O'Hana is booked and so is 1900 Park Fare. To make things even more interesting the grandparents don't like chef mickey's. Please help, the trip is Dec. 19 - 23 so ADR's are tight. If there is anywhere in FW that has a good breakfast that would be perfect. Thanks so much. Have a Magical Day

Must..... have... tonga toast :slurp: :slurp:

Four trips to the world and I've never tried it!

But I've got two Breakfast ADRs in February at Kona, specifically intended to correct this egregious oversight!

anybody ever had a Savory Breakfast Pocket from the fountain view? it sounds...well, savory. :) I would assume it is like a breakfast hot pocket. Is it good, bad, or just bleh?

The Garden Grill restaurant in the Land Pavillion at Epcot used to have a character breakfast but they changed it to only lunch and dinner. Since that bit of info is of no use to you whatsoever, i will say that as far as breakfast goes, Epcot, IMO, has limited options. I will second the already stated opinion that Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL has a great breakfast, even if it isn't on the monorail line. It's actually one of my all time fav's for any meal-also, it isn't too expensive. May also be easy to get APR's since it is, again IMO, a relatively untapped resort eatery.

If you have girls with you they might enjoy the princess storybook breakfast at Akershus in Norway. I know my girls loved it!

Breakfast at Epcot

Just returned today from 8 days at WDW. We stayed at Boardwalk which is between Epcot and MGM. The best breakfast we found is at the Yacht Club galley. It is a great buffet and was $14.95 for adults and I believe $9.95 for kids. They are on the dining plan too. The buffet includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, breakfast potatoes, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, every kind of muffin and danish you can think of, french toast, bagels with all sorts of toppings including lox, cereal hot and cold and fruit galore. If you don't like scrambled eggs the waiter will have your eggs cooked to order as well as bring waffles.

We had breakfast at 4 or 5 different places and we enjoyed this the most. If you can't get reservations just make them through your hotel when you arrive...that's what we did.

Have Fun!

You might go into a diabetic coma... even if you are not a diabetic. :lookaroun

If anything, if gives ya plenty of energy to get thru the MK, or Epcot for the day... with no problems. :sohappy:

I love stayin at the deluxe epcot resorts because of all the food choices all day long. But it is real hard to get to the International Gateway from the MK resorts. Is there a boat that goes to the WL from the Poly or Must i take the monorail around to the MK enterance to get to the boat to WL? Whispering Canyons has always interested me but have never tried it.
