Breakfast at the Value Resorts

is there any type of complimentary breakfast available at the value resorts?? Were thinking of planning our first family trip and my very first time at the resort minus a day trip to epcot a few years ago in august. Trying to decide about a meal plan or not.

No. There is no free continental breakfast the way many other hotels do. Depending on when you go, Disney may offer a free dining promotion, which you could conceivably use to get breakfast.

No free breakfast. If you don't want to pay for breakfast in the food court (or if you're just in a hurry to get started at the parks!), one idea is to bring some breakfast-y items that are easily packed in a suitcase (energy bars, pop-tarts, granola bars, etc) and keep them in your room. The bakery on Main Street in the Magic Kingdom is also a really popular place to grab a giant cinnamon roll or other pastry, and we sometimes get those at night to have for breakfast the next morning. Happy planning!

Well with Disney NOTHING is free and everything is overpriced. I have priced out the Disney Dining Plan many times and you really dont save any money. It is there for convience. It is good however for planning and having not to worry about bringing money for food. If you get the dining plan for free you do end up getting two meals a day for free, just you will be paying top dollar for the resort.

That's not always true...It depends on how you plan it out and where you eat. I've done it multiple times and have saved money on the plan. It really all depends on your eating habits.
