Brave could settle in at Adventureland instead of Fantasyland?

Simple solution, through it in Hollywood Studios. I think if there's any debate about theming of a ride throw it in the Studios. We all know HS sure could use more rides. I'm hoping Brave kills it in the box office and finally gets Iger to greenlight the Pixar place expansion.

That's very true but I feel including Brave as part of the Pixar Place expansion just takes away from the scope of what you could do with it elsewhere. Sure, you could place a medieval Scottish castle setting in Hollywood Studios and have it there next to a Monsters Inc. attraction but it would be a shame because the immersive element of an attraction for that film would almost be ruined. The medieval time period as well as the castle and Merida's princess title points all signs for it to end up in Fantasyland but that's just my opinion. I'm right behind you in seeing Disney finally expand Pixar Place but if it were my call the films I'd like to see the most represented through attractions would be Monsters Inc. and The Incredibles.

Wow so many fans of this dull movie.
Girl alienates mom.
Does something stupid.
She regrets it.

...... big deal welcome to my life.

Now Adventure...... Dad hunts bear, girl tries to stop Dad from killing Mom/Bear.
Where is the Adventure?

Sure fantasy, people do not typically get transformed into bears by witches but Adventure?

I know I just saw that!!! I was hoping for a 100 million dollar opening weekend.

Not likely for a non sequel animated movie. Pixar movies do well over the long term because of word of mouth. So if it is good it will do fine over the long run.

Brave was another Pixar masterpiece so the idea of more presence of that film in the parks would be a welcome one. Although, I recall during a press junket of some sort John Lasseter was asked during the height of Tangled's popularity about seeing more of a presence of the film in the parks aside from the meet and greets and he stated nothing was planned as of now. Personally, Tangled was one of the best Disney animated films in the past decade for me so it would be a delight to see the film more represented in the form of attractions. That said, I like the stance that Lasseter took where they weren't trying to rush a good thing. I think it's wise to have a film simmer for a few years to really allow the timelessness of it to sink in. I think Tangled will certainly make the cut to see attractions of some sort created from it in the near future, the same goes for Brave. Would I love to see attractions or shows based on these films? Without a doubt! I just don't think they need to be rushed in order to capitalize on the strong box-office numbers and great word of mouth the films have generated. In time, I think people's everlasting love for these films will do most of the work and we'll see something developed.

In regards to seeing Brave characters/attractions in Adventureland, not a bad idea but personally if there's one Disney film/character that is dying for a true presence in Adventureland it would have to be Tarzan. There could be a lot of potential for a really great ride system based on that film. I can easily understand how Merida's personality would fit more in with Adventureland but I recall reading from press junkets and interviews with the creative team behind the film that she is actually being welcomed as a true Disney Princess so that's why I'm slightly more inclined to see Brave pop up in Fantasyland if anything.
But, she is a princess w/o a prince. Merida is an independent girl, and I think that bears well for all of our girls to dream a bit bigger than just marrying a prince and living happily ever after (something different).;)

^ That makes too much sense :p

Depending on how much "forest" New Fantasyland will have, an archery range would be really cool. Just bring it over from Epcot.
OMG- that would be terrific! My guys (age 8) are dying for a bow and arrow and to take archery lessons since seeing BRAVE.:)
