Brave could settle in at Adventureland instead of Fantasyland?

I haven't heard of this. But I object since no Adventureland has any sort of connection or possible connection to Scotland. If they REALLY want the characters in the park, Brave belongs in Fantasyland. As a matter of fact, the Merida meet and greet in MK is located there.

Just back from a weekend in Disneyland and the Merida Meet and Greet is right outside It's a Small World and had a huge line, even of people who had not yet seen the movie.

'Brave' in Adventureland? Awesome!

I, for one, fully applaude Disney for presenting Scotland as a distant exotic place, full of dangerous natives who speak in an incomprehensible tongue.
Eh! Whit, dinnae tell me ye canna wirk oot ma Tongue,Awfur gods sake lassie, tak yer time. There's a braw brich moonlicht nicht the nicht.Ye ken!:)

Wow so many fans of this dull movie.
Girl alienates mom.
Does something stupid.
She regrets it.

...... big deal welcome to my life.

Now Adventure...... Dad hunts bear, girl tries to stop Dad from killing Mom/Bear.
Where is the Adventure?

Sure fantasy, people do not typically get transformed into bears by witches but Adventure?
Jesus H, You are a bundle of laughs!

I would absolutely LOVE to see BRAVE developed into a dark ride. It really has the perfect elements for a classic attraction.

i think that if anywhere adventure land would be the fit...i think that this would fit adventure land much better that fantasy land, she isnt the "fantasyland" type if you know what i mean, and as to WS im not a big fan since Scottland isnt a country there.

Erm...That country between Canada and the International Gateway....thats the United Kingdom....yup...Scotland is part of the United Kingdom....Yup...Scotland is a country in world showcase.....

You can see I have been going to WDW since 1977 and I love the classics but if they want to have these new properties survive they have to invest in something to make them relevant. I loved tangled, I loved Brave - these need to have a presence. My daughters are growing up on these movies just like I "grew up" on the classics. My kids need to see the princesses they are seeing in the theaters - they LOVED meeting Tiana. Disney needs to look at retaining me as a guest and cultivating my daughter as future guests.

I just saw Brave last night and while I know it got mixed reviews I personally thought it was amazing. I'd love to see it integrated in a park. Epcot would make the most sense to me but if it is in Magic Kingdom I could see it in Fantasyland.

Merida may be an adventure princess, but she definitely belongs in the European fairy tale setting of the bulk of Fantasyland (Circus stuff with Dumbo being the exception, what with Dumbo being set partially in 40s-era Florida).

Scotish by birth, and independence is just round the corner.

but currently it's still part of the United Kingdom. i mean sure, when independence comes Disney would probably give them their own country, considering there's a movie in that country, but right now UK is the country representing 'Brave'

Merida belongs in Fantasyland with the other Princesses. They could leave her were she is now since there are no other princess movies coming out soon.As for the movie my family loved it! Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, it really doesn't matter what others or critics think.

Have you been to Scotland? If so then you'll realise your not in UK.That's like trying to compare Barstow Nevada with the black forest Germany.

Also we don't need Disney to give us our country,we already have it.

I don't know if you are aware, but if you make a thread political or appear to be, then it can/will get closed.
