Bounceback Offers and Cancellations

If we are offered a bounceback offer (I think that's what it's called) and we take it, are we able to cancel it later without any penalties if we can't go? I would love to receive one of these and take the offer but I'm worried because my husband's job may be changing and we won't know for sure before we go this September to the world.

It would have the same cancellation policy as any other package or room reservation.

You can even make changes to your travel dates later.

Ok, so now I have more questions.
1.Is it offered just to random people?
2.When it is offered will they give you a date range to choose from?
3.If they give you a date range to choose from how far out are the dates? (example-we are going this Sept. Will they save you need to return between Jan 2011 and August 2011 or how do the dates work?
4.How much is due when you book one of these offers?
5.Does it matter what type of resort you are currently booked at or where you would book in the future? We are staying at a Deluxe. Does it up your chance of getting an offer if you are staying at a Deluxe because you are spending more money or doesn't it matter? Can you book at any level of resort regardless of where you are currently booked at? (We can't always afford a deluxe. This is the first time staying a Deluxe for us since I was in middle school and I'm now 38.)

Sorry for all the questions. My husband isn't the biggest Disney fan so I need to make sure I have all the correct info to give him upfront so I can slowly get him into the right frame of mind to rebook if we get the chance :)

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. Depends on the offer, it is just like the offers we get to the general public or through pin code offers they all have different date ranges
4. I believe its the standard $200 deposit
5. I don't think it matters

I would like to add the disclaimer - I have never received a bounceback offer :lookaroun

If you don't see a bounceback offer in your room, you can call the front desk or ask if one is being offered at the concierge desk  I think I've also seen them advertised on the resort tv.

If there is no offer in your room, you can always call and inquire about one.
2.When it is offered will they give you a date range to choose from?
Yes. There will be a range of dates during which the offer is valid.
3.If they give you a date range to choose from how far out are the dates? (example-we are going this Sept. Will they save you need to return between Jan 2011 and August 2011 or how do the dates work?
I've seen them all over the place. When I first started going, they were for the next year (probably based on Disney's presumption that people would visit once a year). But as the economy (and advanced bookings) got worse, they've been for periods within a couple months. [/QUOTE]
4.How much is due when you book one of these offers?
The same reservation policies apply: $200 for a package, and one-night's stay for room-only.
5.Does it matter what type of resort you are currently booked at or where you would book in the future? We are staying at a Deluxe. No, it doesn't matter. The example pricing they use will be based on your current resort category, but the offer will detail the discounts for other levels.
