I never really thought about it but yes, it does, lol. The new campus center is nice, doesn't really match the rest of the place.

Yeah, I haven't been over there since my ex-gf graduated from there about 5-6 years ago. The only thing I remember were the stairs from the library that gave me a really weird feeling because the staircase went at an angle but the stairs went straight...I found them really awkward to walk down. (Maybe that's just my architectural side coming out though  )

Wait...did I get that right...you drive from the Cape (I just did it  ) to school?!?!? That's a hike!

Actually, that Bulger reference really hit home from a UMB'er!

The stairs are weird, that's why I always use the back ones. Yes, I drive there. My situation is kind of a weird one, I'm an older student, have 2 children, and my husband passed away a few years ago. I need to live near my family right now and Boston is a great place to study nursing so, here I am. Oh well, I have my trips to Disney to look forward to!

Wow...you go girl.

Hehe, yeah, I guess you can't really ask for a better city to get in the field of medicine.

Is it a 5 day thing or did you schedule it so you didn't have to do it every day? Man, just thinking of that...that must take you like 2 hours in the morning!

This is the 1st semester that I'm only going 3 days a week and not 5. I schedule my classes as early as possible, leave around 5:30 in the morning so I beat traffic, and get home right before my kids do. It is a pain but I keep telling myself it will be worth it in the end. Then I'll totally be a deluxe resort kind of girl, lol.

BAM!!!!

Did they burn her?

(Does she weigh the same as a duck? Did they build a bridge out of her? Does she float like very small rocks?)

She got out in one piece and floats exactly the same way that rocks don't.

Though a few years before we visited she played one of the Witches in a rep production of Macbeth.

*You can actually find your way around Boston*

That SO does not apply to you, Brian.

:zipit: :zipit: :zipit:

*sigh* it is true...although, I'm MUCH better now...I just go by landmarks

Oh, there's the Citgo sign...Fenway's in front of me...turn around, I'm going the wrong way.

Oh, there's the Garden...*turns around*

Oh, here's the theatre district... *turns around*

(I may not know my way around the city that well...but I know how to get "un-lost" now  )

Not only do most of those apply to me, but I also know what a bubbler is. :)

I do miss Boston and I would like to visit again someday. For now, I'll just have to be happy with the few movies and television shows I have on DVD so I can watch them for the landmarks.
