Yeah, I saw the "original" brain, too, thus my confused post ealier in the thread. I guess that's a sign you're spending too much time on a site: You see posts that are deleted in under a minute. :)

Not really in the boondocks. I'm actually in one of the biggest cities in Arkansas.

My hometown of 800 people has a liquor store in it.

Where I'm at now (Conway), I have to travel east toward Little Rock. That stretch of I-40 is terrible in terms of traffic. It stays packed pretty much the entire trip both ways. There's a little liquor store about 15 miles from here, but prices are way too expensive and the store is kind of trashy. It's much easier to go all the way to Little Rock and back for better prices and higher class places.


I can't understand why this county (3 colleges) or any county that has a college in it would want to stay a dry county. That would mean a lot of money for the city and county and state.

Too bad, it seems like its going to be a county by county decision to decide on wet/dry status.

I'm guessing the residents are trying to limit the number of naked freshman sleeping on their lawns:)
