So I heard that they closed the bar near the food court at Pop Century to make way for more seating.

Is there anywhere now at the resort where you can get a drink?

Just got back from a few nights at Pop Century. The only kicker about the pool bar was the bad weather. If they cleared the pool, they shut down the bar. I was willing to stick it out but no dice!

Wow!!! At that price wouldnt it be worth it to take a cab to a store outside of WDW and stock up?

Or even a cab to the Hess station on property. They sell it at relatively normal prices (I think it was like $11.99 - $13.99 for a 12 pack of bottles of bud lite). Still a little bit pricey, but better than the $12.99 for a 6 pack of cans at the POFQ.

I thought they were using the space for package pick up? or is it for more seating and package pick up?

Yes, Classic Concoctions closed as that will become the new package pick up area. The merchandise stockroom are the double doors to the left of the bar. That area had been looked at for a long time as something other than a bar. The food team wanted a coffee bar, or a ice cream bar, but the merchandise team won out and it will be a huge asset for them as Package Pick Up is the biggest nightmare for Pop Century Merchandise team.

Beer and wine are sold in the QSR location and hard liquor is sold in the merchandise location at the middle set of registers. The problem with Petals is with the weather. They will only close for the safety of the guest if there is lightning.

Hope this helps out. "Have a groovy day" and "Do The Hustle"
