booking adr's before booking package?

Our 180 day mark is Nov 1st, can i book our ADR's before we book our hotel package? How would this work, were going to be booking our hotel around the same time but i dont want to miss out on our choices because we waited a week longer!

I've always had the booking before I called, but have never been asked for my confirmation number when I did call [I always have it ready]. I'd say call and tell them you'll be staying at whatever resort you plan to stay at. If they ask for a confirmation number you're outta luck as far as the ten-days worth of bookings from your arrival date, but you can still book each day 180-days out individually [or wait until 180 from your last ADR day and book them all together that way].

Ive always booked first but never once have I had to give my reservation number. The most I was ever asked was what resort I was staying in.

You don't need any sort of booking confirmation number to book ADRs, as you won't get one if you're staying off property. Book your ADRs at the 180 day mark - its one less thing to worry about

thanks everyone! i also forgot about the update to the dining system, so the only one i can book at the 180 day mark is Chef Mickeys!

Officially, Chef Mickey's, CRT and V&A are still 180. However, I would ask for every TS ADR you want when you call on 1 Nov. I suspect that some others will be accessible at that time.
