According to Orlando weekly food blog a while back they have plans to put a new concept in place of bongos like a grab and go and food hall not sure how true that is .

I did like the papas.
I think I ate inside maybe twice...it was just “ok”....
Definitely a “90’s” style restaurant...probably best to move on

I'm with you. They have a decent mojito there as well.
I won't miss Bongo's, but I certainly didn't hate it.

How about a Hawaiian or Polynesian themed restaurant with nightly luaus in the center of the restaurant? You could keep the pineapple!!

October 14, 2018: On Episode 183 of the Disney Dish Podcast, Jim Hill and Len Testa discussed the replacement for Bongos Cuban Cafe. The restaurant group, Lettuce Entertain You is planning on replacing Bongos with their Beatrix Market concept. The concept offers soup, salads and sandwiches in a quick service setting and currently has a location in Chicago.

While the food tasted good, the service, most specifically at the walk up, was horrendous. They were absolutely rude to my wife who placed an order and inquired about it after 20 minute wait. When we spoke to the manager on duty, things didn't improve.
So if someone were to soak the place in gasoline, I'd be more than ready to toss the lit match.

The only places I’ve ever eaten at Disney Springs are Blazin Pizza, D-Luxe Burgers, And our traditional Volcano Cake dessert night at Rainforest.
