We have been to boma for breakfast loved it never been for dinner is it good and is their a lot of African flare not sure how my kids would like that

Dinner is phenomenal. Is there alot of African inspired flavors? There are certainly some. However nothing overly spicy or bizarre. And the kids section doesn't mess with the traditional pasta, chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, etc. I find that many of the flavors are as much different ways of looking at foods we normally eat. For instance, watermelon salad. Or avocado, grapefruit and papaya salad. A fair amount of dishes may have choices such as couscous, tabouleh, etc which isn't overly spicy, but just not found in typical American cuisine.

Totally agree with @dreamfinder..The food is never as spicy/hot that you would get at an Indian.Think African BBQ.

They also serve I think 5 different soups each night. I don't find them to be spicy, just full of flavors. You can easily make a meal out of the soups alone. You must remember, WDW has to cater to thousands of different palates at any given time. In order for a restaurant to be successful there it needs to be slightly different than the norm, but at the same time can't stray too far so that it can appeal to more guests.

Another vote for Boma at dinner. Nothing too exotic on the menu and the Zebra Domes for dessert are excellent.

plenty to choose from my kids 18 mo and 4-1/2 were fine eating there for dinner. Save room for Zebra Domes but in case you dont save room you can mail me some here in Illinois. Mmmmmm....

On one of many visits to Boma for dinner, we were a party of seven. Including a picky family with parents whose likes were very different, and three girls ages three to fourteen who were selective eaters. In addition, there were two easy-to-please grandmothers. Everyone found plenty to her or his liking and ate heartily.

While you did not say why you have doubts about your kids enjoying it, rest assured that there's so much variety, I cannot imagine them not being able to find at least several things that they will love. Also, I'm guessing that if you approach it as a culinary treat and adventure, and present it as a chance for them to try lots of cool foods that most people don't get to eat, you should be able to get them interested in trying new things and expanding their tastes.

It doesn't require an adventurous palate. There are many standard offerings, maybe with a slightly different spice. The carving station is one of the best on property. There are some more exotic offerings but nothing too outlandish. Try it!

Boma is wonderful!!! One of my favorites. I have an extremley picky eater and she was able to easily find food that she liked in the kids section, so I would have no reservations about your kids finding something that they will enjoy.

The range of the food offered here can go from Mac and Cheese to stuff you have never heard of before. I can not imagine anyone not being able to find enough food here that is in their wheel house to put together an enjoyable meal.

I agree, I tend to have more soup than anything else here, not counting desserts. I'm not much into meat but go more for the salads, hummus, soups and desserts.

We love it and that includes our kids (10 and 8). The food isn't as odd as the menu may indicate. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! Be sure to try a tusker lager with dinner!!

Awesome! I love "stuff you have never heard of before" and "bowl of some serious whoop-@ss on the side" myself. They both go great with "punch I drink until I'm sick" that I mentioned earlier.

Heard great reviews for the Boma Dinner menu. Ate here a couple times for Breakfast and it's one of my favorites (behind Cape May and Crystal Palace for breakfast at least). I'd definitely give it a try.

I am a firm believer in trying things for yourself. The worst thing that will happen is none of you will like it, in which case you don't ever have to go back and all it cost you was a dinner. On the flip side, you may find that you love it and you may all realize you are more adventurous than you give yourselves credit for. I always think its better to know than to wonder.
