Boma breakfast advice

I have seen many of you rave about how great this breakfast is, but I have never been able to fit it into my schedule.

This year, I will be in the AKL around 9:30 am on my last day, so I made an ADR for Boma's breakfast.

I have had dinner there 3 or 4 times and always liked it.

Please tell me about your favorite dishes and provide pics if you have any. I am not looking to eat standard food (except for bacon because I can't say no to bacon). I am looking for the unique dishes that make this place great.

Thanks!

I am a big fan of the first station (where the meat is carved) in the buffet. Most of the more non traditional food is there and the station following it. One of my favs is the Pap and Chakalaka (i like grits though) and the french toast bread pudding with the pecan sauce. My recommendation is to try everything in little portions to see what you like then go back for your favorites on the second trip. And please do not forget to eat your BACON!

They have a great corn bread based casserole. I can not think of its real name but its located near the carving station. Also try the bread pudding, eggs with goat cheese, and the pastries. On a second note... Just try it all!

I love the carving station with the boma mustard, and the scrambled eggs with goat cheese (and sometimes chives). My favorite is the caramel pean rolls, they are some of the best I've ever had.
