In Disneyland they have a counter service places that have real silver wear and food that's a bit higher quality than standard fair. I truly hope that's the direction that this is headed.

The mosaic is so beautiful - it really captures the stained glass scenes from the movie. On another note... Disney is really missing an opportunity for "grey stuff" the menu. Every Disney place I go I read comments about "I want to try the grey stuff, it's delicious!" I would be totally surprised if they don't add something so that the servers are not driven insane.

There are rumors swirling around on other boards that the date to book ADRs has been bumped up to Aug 4th, but I have yet to find any place official to confirm this. It wasn't the kind of thing that a CM mentioned in phone call- i.e. we know that kind of info is rarely accurate. It was in a blog, and nobody could confirm a solid source. For that reason, I'm still thinking late August...but that's still open to interpretation too. I would normally think of late Aug as something after the 20th, but since Val I season starts on Aug 18- that could be late August, or as one friend pointed out...late Aug could be anything after Aug 14/15/16 since that's what they'd consider mid August.

The people who run that site are Disney travel agents so it's possible they have some inside information, or it just might be a mistake.

I'm just hoping for soft openings or something in mid-September. We're hoping to have lunch there during our trip. No big deal if not, but it would be cool.

I believe the August 4 date came from within the Disney Reservation Center. Something that some of the agents heard, or thought they heard. It's not 100% official, but it's more than just a rumor someone invented.

The Travel Guide blog today announced that ADR's will be accepted starting August 24th, but an opening date has yet to be announced.

Just a little update from the Disney Blog page. Looks like we will be hearing a bit about Gastosns in the near future.

And speaking of Gaston’s Tavern, many of you have been asking for an update on this food and beverage location. Our Food Author Pam Brandon hopes to have something to share very soon!

Hope it isn't 2 credits on the dining plan!!!
