Is there a boat that will take you from Hollywood Studios to Epcot? I thought there was a boat that took you to the entrance into the the world showcase. If so is it the fastest way to get from HS to Epcot? I will be at HS for the day with a dinner res at Akershus that evening and am trying to find the quickest way to get there.

Boat transportation

There is a boat that goes from DHS to Epcot and back again but is also makes stops at all of the Epcot resorts making the trip incredibly slow. There is also a walking path that runs from the studios, alongside the Boardwalk and into Epcot that is much quicker than the boat.

Yes you can take the boat from HS to Epcot but just make sure to allow plenty of time as the boat also stops at all the resorts before going on to Epcot!! Nice ride but it does take some time!! You could also walk if you have not done enought walking already!!! Have a great dinner at Epcot!!!

What you can do is take the boat from DHS to the first Hotel stop (which ever it is) and get off and walk the rest of the way to EPCOT. Thats the quickest way. My DH and I compared the walk and by the time the boat hit the last hotel and was on its way over to EPCOT we were already in the park and waiting. Walking from DHS to the Boardwalk area is longer then taking the boat.
