Boat ride or Carriage Ride?

During our upcoming trip to WDW staying at POR which would be more romantic- the carriage ride or the boat ride to Downtown Disney? Any thoughts?

Reservations are strongly recommended. Walk ups are accepted only if the carriage is not booked or in use. If you are able to get a walk up you must pay in cash, they don't accept credit cards on site. The cost is $35 per person for 30 mins.

IIRC, it was $35 for up to 4 people, not pp.

They have the rides at both Port Orleans and Fort Wilderness. Same price and policy at both locations.

Ah, you're right. My info says price per carriage, not sure why, but I read it as price per person. :hammer:I thought that sounded expensive even by Disney standards. :lol: Thanks for the correction! :wave:

I would go for the Carriage Ride for sure. You can go just the two of your vs. a load of people with you to DTD, unless you rented a private boat. Either way, i still think the carriage ride is more romantic. :kiss:

I have booked the carriage ride at Port Orleans for January 14th at 9pm!!!!
