Just booked a (relatively) last-minute trip to take advantage of summer room discounts and celebrate our first anniversary and received the following email...any intel on what areas I should avoid when submitting our room request?

File it under totaly un-verified, but when we were there last week, the CM running the poolside trivia game stated (over the microphone to everyone) that the clown at the end of the pool side was going to be removed in the next few weeks.

Of course she also had a trivia question that asked what are the names of the hosts of the Tiki Room and she said the answer was Zazu and Iago, so her intel may not be something to trust.

This has been going on since last year. We stayed in July 2016 and they were painting the exterior when we were there. We booked again in March for July 2017 (leaving in 2 weeks) and we received the same notice as you. It was no big deal or any inconvenience to us last year during our stay.
