Boardwalk buses

We will be staying at the boardwalk villas at the end of September and had a question about buses. From what I've read it seems like during busy times the bus stops first at the boardwalk then the Swan and dolphin. During slow times it stops first at the yacht club, beach club, boardwalk and then the Swan and dolphin. Just wanted to know how busy it will be going to magic kingdom and animal kingdom.

Hi there! Just came back from a weekend at the Boardwalk Villas. I feel it could be considered a busy weekend since Pandora had just opened and it was the last weekend before the Silver Annual Passholders go on blackout status for the summer. We only went to Animal Kingdom by bus and the bus went straight from the Boardwalk Villas to the park. Not sure if it had previous stops. Can't say for Magic Kingdom as we didn't go there this weekend.

We just got back from our first-ever stay at the boardwalk. We loved walking to Epcot and DHS; sadly bus service to MY and AK was horrible.

Once nice perk of the resorts proximity getting back to the hotel was hopping on a Swan/Dolphin bus at MK and walking over the bridge to the Boardwalk. A couple minutes of walking compared to who knows how many more minutes of waiting for the Boardwalk bus.

I thought the Swan and Dolphin shared the bus with the Boardwalk. Was that not the case for you?

They don't combine to MK. BW has one bus, Swan/Dolphin have another, Yacht/Beach a third. They place them all together so you can hop on any of the three (which I love at mid-day when it can take awhile for a bus to come--we just hop on whichever arrives first).

Have stayed at both the Boardwalk and the S&D. Boardwalk does NOT share buses with S&D.

BoardWalk should have its own bus to MK...esp at Park opening and close.

It can share with S/D going to AK as I recall. The S/D, Y/B, BWI loop has officially been killed off and that's great!
