Blue Icee

I read on here awhile back that the Icee machines at the Pop Century resort were no longer installed. I tried calling the hotel but was put through to the business manager, who wasn't too happy to talk to me about it and basically hung up on me.

Anyone know if the Icee machines are still working at Pop Century?? We are going in September and it was always a nice drink to fill our mugs up with.

Thank you!!!!

When I was there in January they were still up and running. For the most part. lol. One of them seemed to not work for 2 or 3 days, it would just spit out blue liquid lol. But by the end of the trip it was working again.

I stayed there in February and they were still there, however I have read several times since then that they were completely removed and replaced with tea. :( Very sad, that was one of the things I always look forward to at Pop.

During our stay in mid March, they were down most of the time. Probably the reason they ended up getting rid of them. Well, that and they were extremely messy. My kids and brother will miss them on our next trip for sure.

I would always have one with breakfast, too! The sugar rush helped me get off to a marathon start at the parks every morning.

Is it confirmed that they are no longer there now? Any hopes of bringing them back??

The Icee machines have been replaced by Gold Peak Ice Tea. Not so great tasting. Four flavors of tea, not sure all of the flavors, but one is citrus and another is black tea. I think one is just sweet. Anyway, in one shot, they got rid of Icees and fresh brewed tea. Bummer. And, the Coke Zero was sour-tasting. :hurl:
