BLT Opening Day?

What is the first day you can stay at the BLT? I heard it was in August but I have not seen the exact date. I imagine check-in will be a zoo on day one but it would be cool to be the first one in a room!

Usually I'm pretty good with the WDW acroymns...I'm not getting BLT though... maybe it's just because my brain is now clouded with the thought of bacon... :slurp:

We will be staying there for 2 nights in late August. I've recently learned that check-in - at least for now - will be over at the CR, which is no problem because we've always loved the CR! We are very excited to be staying at the BLT! :sohappy:
