The blown glass idea sounds good...but...I wonder how that will be on those lovely boiling HOT days at Disney?? Are they only saving this for when its cold... because I've seen them do this at fairs and the heat that comes off them are intense... they may do shows on how glass is made which is cool.. because from the pictures it looked like a big area to do small deminstrations.:)

A sign of the times, pointing out that Epcot is using all of its lots.

It's not open ya know :zipit:

Also, getting out of Epcot was a pain, as seen by these lines at the tram station:

Since this is sorta now my "Everything that happened today" thread..

At Epcot at 6:30ish the waits for Soarin and Test Track were about 2 hours, no FP, M:S at 70 and 30, no FP, and the only thing that had FP was Living with the Land.

The central tipboard had switched to only advertising the World Showcase attractions, just sort of listing them one at a time to get you to go there, the other two tipboards were telling Future World times.

WOW - the new Crystal Arts Shop looks great. This and the Art of Disney in the Cinema gives me a tiny bit of hope for the return of themed shopping on Main Street. If only the Emporium could get a rehab to address the Paul Pressler era "Gap Outlet" feeling it still has.

Wow, it seems that Disney took a trip to Greenfield Village at The Henry Ford in Metro Detroit and decided to re-create the glass blowing kiln and shop.

I like it, and it brings back memories of the long-ago partnership and friendship Walt and his clan had with Henry and the Ford clan. So many similarities and all.

So, this is in frontierland or in liberty square?

Very cool! It's amazing how they sneak these things in with nobody seeming to find out in advance. Great addition to MK. Now if only they could allow the teams in charge of this and the HM rehab to have some input into the descent at SSE...........:zipit:.............uh sorry I'm off topic.

Excellent find Merf!

The one in Branson, I have never been to Dollywood but would love to go.

I haven't been since it became Dollywood, however I did go along time ago when it was called Silver Dollar City. There wasn't really a whole lot to it, and from what I understand there is very little resemblance between the two. Dolly really pumped some money into her park.

I have always been very intrigued with glass artisans, you know the type that makes the little intricate figurines...I can't wait to see them blowing full size glass objects d'art.

The one in Branson had a lot of money pumped into it, they have multiple roller coasters. Though I think Dollywood has surpassed them with all the attractions she has put in over the years.
