Blizzard Beach Tribute

I consider both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon part of the Disney Parks experience and make sure to include them in each visit to WDW.

Do you make the water parks part of visit? Do you visit each trip? Do you have a favorite TL or BB?

Here is a tribute to BB. Let me know what you think.

In the Parks
Yes
Dude we LOVE Typhoon Lagoon almost as much as we love MK! We go 3-4 times per trip!

BB is awesome too just way too much work climbing those steps all day man!

Awesome video! What kind of camera did you use...?

I love Typhoon Lagoon too, probably a little more than BB. The most relaxing place on Earth for me is the lazy river at TL. (I get to the park at opening so it's relatively quiet).

Here's a video I made last year for TL

Disney water parks are the best.

Nice job on the video!

It brought back the feeling of pure terror I felt the first time I rode Summit Plummet.

Lol thanks. Summit Plummet is over so quick but that first second as you go over the edge can be terrifying. I wanted to try and capture that.

You can see in that shot as I go down the slide that the place where water shoots out creating the effect of someone jetting off the end of the fake slide is covered up. I wonder if that effect is working again.

I have not been to BB since the year it opened and we took a high school senior class trip. I went on all the rides and slides and since it was just opened it was really clean and fresh, heh heh....

I gained a newfound respect for Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach after my first visit to both this past summer. I definitely feel like they are underrated and underrepresented parts of the WDW resort. So much so that I even started this thread about it. :p
