Typhoon Lagoon is far and away the more pleasant of the two parks to spend time at, and also has the more diverse attraction offerings.

One thing I would definitely advise people of is that if you want to do both parks on the same trip, it's probably not a good idea to do them on back-to-back days.
We tried this and were very sore.

Typhoon Lagoon for us. My wife likes to sit in the shade and read all day whilst I enjoy the 'lazy river' and the wave pool there. BB is nice also, however aesthetically we find TL more enjoyable with a slightly more relaxed 'vibe'.

$9.99 in the post with locations. Have you seen the kitchen sink at WDW filled with tons of ice cream etc

Just went back and fully read it, thanks. I've seen pictures of the kitchen sink on here before :greedy:.

However never seen or heard of the sand pail before today. Will definitely be having one in October though when we next visit :hungry:

At Typhoon Lagoon, there's an ice cream stand next to the Leaning Palms (which is a QS restaurant with outdoor seating). It's called Happy Landings.

At Blizzard Beach, there's another ice cream stand between the Ski Patrol Training area and the chairlift to the top. I think it used to be called Sled Dog Expeditions but I think it's now called I.C. Expeditions.

Thank you kindly

When our children were young, one used to be enough for me, DW, and our 4 youngsters as a mid-afternoon snack.

The kids are teenagers and swimmers now. They burn a lot of calories and have healthy appetites. One typically is not enough but two are too much.

I know, we've tried. ;)

I Defo going to try it. Have you seen the kitchen sink

Yes, Beaches and Cream's Kitchen Sink is larger but its price is approaching $30.

I find it a lot more fun sitting outside in a bathing suit on a sunny day at one of WDW's water parks with a Sand Pail. :)

Yeah I think I'd rather do that too. That's way too much and $30 seems lot for an ice cream. Thanks again for your great and detailed post

We only went to BB once on our first visit. Every other visit, it was closed. Naturally we took to TL and after a visit on our last trip, we didnt feel the "vibe" of BB. Thats winter travel for you !!
