Hi, Just a quick question to anyone reading this. I recently watched an old video with my Niece of a sing along on the beach and it featured a Blizzard Beach scene. I showed in part of it an area where inner tubes were sent over humps of ice and you could potentially fall off (it looked dangerous!) I was just wondering if anyone knows what I am talking about and what Its called. I don't believe its there anymore as I don't recall seeing it. Any help is appreciated! thanks.

I think your talking about the second highest drop there it's right next to BIG drop and yes it's still there and as long as gravity your friend you'll be fine lol

I looked that one up and that's not it either. Its not really a slide. I will post a video of it later. Its literally and open area of small bumps that your inner tube glides over and its just very different!

Wow, I went to BB the year it opened and don't remember them at all, I would have been 12 too so the perfect age for them!

THOSE ARE THEM!? anyone know where I can find footage of these?

I don't think they were as solid as they look, I think it was some kind of foam under a rubber surface, but still almost everyone popped out of their tube. It was determined that it wasn't working as intended as they were removed. (I'm wondering if a less-steep slope would've worked better, slower speed where you just meandered back and forth among the moguls rather than launching off them as jumps).

This sing-along video is the only footage I've ever seen of this.

Thanks for the information! It just seems weird how it seems to just have vanished and no one knows much about it!

Oh boo. Kids need to toughen up anyway. My nana says when she went to school, they used bricks as dodge balls. I think she's joking, but I totally understand. Not trying to be mean here, but I'm really sick of everyone scared that their precious, little child might fall and hurt themself. Heaven Forbid.

The moguls were never open to the public. I was an intern during the employee trials of BB. Too many employees and their children got hurt on the moguls in those initial couple days and the area remained roped off until it was remade into something else.

Well this is Disney, they don't need another child injury lawsuit war right now.

Does wants to do EVERYTHING 100% safe because Disney does not need to have a legal battle over an injury lawsuit.
Nobody NEEDS a legal battle.

You said ANOTHER.

You also said LAWSUIT WAR, insinuating that Disney had sued someone in retaliation.

I'm just trying to figure out what you are talking about.
