Trip Report Birthday at The Boardwalk-A LIVE Celebration!!🥳🎉🎂

We can’t fully start the party bc not everyone is here yet!! But here is how we’re starting!!

Myself, my niece, H & her boyfriend, T took the 5:05 flight out of Pittsburgh this morning.

Beautiful sunrise!!

We’re at different resorts so I traveled alone to mine.

I checked my luggage with bell services & out I went.

R is so excited this is finally open!! Get your wallet ready, buddy!!

I hopped on the Skyliner to go to HS to pick something up.

Just arrived at DS to meet H & T for lunch. Not sure what the afternoon is going to entail yet but it’s been a busy day so far!!

In the future if a restaurant cancels your reservation get thee to a Blue Guest Experience CM who can book a new restaurant for you (or at least “really” cancel the conflicting reservation.)

You then could have booked Garden Grill and saved R and E from hoofing it all the way to Ale and Compass.

Ale & Compass was very good, as usual.

Unfortunately, it’s that time.

We’re leaving Disney property now. H & T are at AK & coming home on a later flight than us.

While we were eating one of my sisters came across this photo from many moons ago of H & myself.

Wow!! It has to be 16 years old!!

So precious! I recently found a picture with my aunt and me from when I was a kid. It's so special and like your pic, you can feel the radiating of love.

They gave J a huge bag of candy they got
the night before at a DVC event. He was thrilled!!

So wonderful that so many friends have been made on these forums! I'm so glad P and L @lindawdw were there and that is so sweet of them to give the candy to J!

Then, the moment I had been waiting for!! Surprise!! E finally found out that H & T were there!!

Awwwwww......how fun! I love finding random birthday twins in life!

We were able to meet up with my dear friend Darstarr’s son!! I’m sure you remember him!!

Glad he's doing well.

Birthday boy really wanted Via Napoli. He loves the pizza. He & I split it. Unfortunately, this was not that great today. It was lukewarm at best.

My birthday boy's #1 restaurant is Via Napoli, too!

Even though they cancelled our reservation the app wasn’t reflecting it & I wouldn’t let us make another one for a different place.

Ohhh man, that's frustrating. It's so easy to forget about the Blue Umbrella CM's but I am going to try to keep them in mind when the app messes with us this trip!

I never claimed to be normal!!
I was in better shape at the beginning of the trip. By the last day I couldn't move my hand. The shots that worked so well for you??(And, I'm glad they did) I called the day after I got home b/c I was in total agony. They called it a cortisone flare. Instead of calming things down sometimes it does the exact opposite. Bad to worse...
You didn't think I was rope dropping Baseline, by chance?? I'm not my sister!!
But, Baseline kind of had something to do with it. I had to get shirts for the next day for those that didn't have them!!

We always try to spot the person with the microphone making the tree talk

All 3 of us were looking everywhere trying to figure it out!!

We encountered the tree last week and found it quite creepy. Never was able to find who was making it talk.

Creepy is an understatement!! We didn't either!!

Is it supposed to be creepy for Halloween?? Summer house looks wonderful! I hope you are hanging in there

No clue, I just hope I don't run into it again!! It was really good!! We're going to go again on our next trip so E, J & R can try it!!

oh my goodness…. I hope that tree never asks Hope to give it a hug. It might be the last hug it receives. I could see my girl attaching herself and strolling around Disney Springs right along with it!

And those horrid Crocs!! I think they went up in price since last year? Is it possible? Although it’s Disney, what am I asking?

Not that I’d be brave enough, but I just had the idea to go tap them on the shoulder…“Excuse me sir. Are you okay? Should I call an ambulance? Oh, you’re not ill? Why else would you be unconscious RIGHT HERE!?”

I like that!! But, like you, I'm not brave enough either. If it was someone I knew I would have no problem saying it but not to a stranger. Then again, no one I know would do something like that!!

Thanks so much!! We did get a lot done with little time. But, unfortunately, the trip felt so short!! I mean, I know none are ever long enough. But, we did make the most of it!!
Your favorite, right?? I got a bounce back after this trip so we tried to use it for Beach Club for this upcoming summer but there was no availability but we could use it at Boardwalk so we'll be back there again!! For a week!!

Morning at Boardwalk or morning at Riverside?

I enjoy both but I have to say Riverside(I'm sure that comes as no surprise!!) It definitely has a more relaxed atmosphere than the Boardwalk-even early in the morning!!

2:00 and I was out of the house at 2:45!! Trust me, I kept asking myself "why?" but I'm so glad I did b/c it basically gave me an extra full day!!

The highlight of my birthday trip was getting to spend so much time with you and your beautiful family Patti!!! We truly had so many magical moments all together and your generosity made my birthday even more special. I love the Baseline Tap House shirts and we can't wait to wear them again for a future meet-up trip!!! Hope your hand is feeling a bit better now.

I honestly didn't care if the Baseline T-Shirt was a little big because I love wearing it when we all hang together there!!!
