Trip Report Birthday at The Boardwalk-A LIVE Celebration!!🥳🎉🎂

We can’t fully start the party bc not everyone is here yet!! But here is how we’re starting!!

Myself, my niece, H & her boyfriend, T took the 5:05 flight out of Pittsburgh this morning.

Beautiful sunrise!!

We’re at different resorts so I traveled alone to mine.

I checked my luggage with bell services & out I went.

R is so excited this is finally open!! Get your wallet ready, buddy!!

I hopped on the Skyliner to go to HS to pick something up.

Just arrived at DS to meet H & T for lunch. Not sure what the afternoon is going to entail yet but it’s been a busy day so far!!

R was up extremely early. I guess being in Disney on your birthday does that to you? I had been so tired that I slept all night without waking(that never happens) & didn’t get up until 7:30.

E got him a really nice travel humidor for his birthday!!

I had ordered us a breakfast box. The muffins are excellent!!

We decided to walk to HS. We thought about taking the Skyliner but by the time we walked there/transferred lines it would be quicker to just do what we did.

We arrived around 9:45. RNRC only had a 25 minute wait so J & I headed there while E & R rope dropped Baseline. I gave E PCB to hold for me. Not only did she send me a picture that she filled it but it was half eaten by the time we met back up!!

J was happy. We got the front row without asking!!

Then, the moment I had been waiting for!! Surprise!! E finally found out that H & T were there!!

Now I could finally relax. I was so worried about spilling the beans that it was stressing me out!!

Now the gang’s all here & the party can begin!!
Happy Birthday @lindawdw & R!! Yes, they share the same birthday!

We got a group picture & had a special guest for it. Linda & Pete’s daughter joined us all the way from Hong Kong!!

I brought some birthday treats. When I picked them up the night before I was very upset to see that they misspelled R’a name.

Pete to the rescue!!

We hung out at Baseline for awhile(no surprise there I’m sure) then we had a LL for Star Tours. R & E don’t ride it so Pete & Linda pretended to be them!!

And, in case you’re noticing that H & T are quick change artists they already had matching shirts for the day so I asked them just to put the Baseline ones on for the earlier group picture!!

Back to Baseline!! We met up with our friends that we met back in April!! You may remember them!! So much fun!!

After awhile we all parted ways. We had a LL for A.S.S.
R & E sat that one out.

As they did for Smugglers Run.

But, not Rise!! Quick rant, I was very disappointed. I bought us LL’s. H & T have never been on it. There was no preshow or going on the thing(whatever it’s called) where you get captured. I didn’t care for myself but felt bad for them. They missed so much of the experience!! And when you’re paying all that money….UGH!! They took us in through a side door to see the stormtroopers. Just not the same….

When we met up for Rise R was doing his usual!!

We abandoned them again bc it was time to check into our hotel!!

The drop sequence wasn’t very fun this time around, unfortunately!!

We stopped for something to drink.
J loved his frozen Coke!!

While we people watched this!!

J & I took one last ride while H & T used a LL for Runaway Railway. R & E watched Beauty & the Beast(R slept)

We were going to head back to our resorts but time wasn’t on our side.
But there was time to stop at The Polynesian!!

Time for dinner!!
Poor Linda & Pete were greeted by this lovely looking crew!!

Dinner was at Steakhouse 71 & it was excellent!!
Fun times!! Can you say “mignon”??

J was very disappointed in his salmon portion.

Happy Birthday!!

I’m now up to current time!! Yay!!

Looking forward to another great day!!

The day is starting out great!!
We were able to meet up with my dear friend Darstarr’s son!! I’m sure you remember him!!

J’s buddy!!

And now we’re traveling together!!

We made a stop at Club Cool.

Darstarr’s son stuck around to meet H & T. He then headed out bc he has to work later. It was great to see him!!

We went to save the Galaxy, one way or another…..

While some got started at R&C!!

J & I are visiting Figment!!

I didn’t eat anything from Japan & was still a bit hungry since all I ate was the filet so I went in search.
I ran into H & T who were eating/drinking around the world & we got some things from China.

We went to Norway next. School Bread is a favorite of mine & H’s so we split a piece. The coffee drink was excellent!!

They had also been doing a scavenger hunt so we continued on with that.

H wanted to stop here so we got some ciders.

Hung out in Canada for a bit.

Then we parted ways. H & T are heading to MK for the Halloween party!!

Den is jealous! His favorite is the school bread!

Birthday boy really wanted Via Napoli. He loves the pizza. He & I split it. Unfortunately, this was not that great today. It was lukewarm at best.

J had his favorite there, the tortellini. He enjoyed it!!

E had the gluten free pasta. She said it was good.

Good night WS!!

We stopped on our way out so J could get his prizes for the scavenger hunts.

The perfect ending to a perfect day!!

Pete is the best, let me tell you!! Great camera skills, awesome drink deliverer & birthday cookie fixer!!

E went to The Cake Bake Shop. She got a piece of pound cake, some bar type thing & a cookie. Everything was good but no need to repeat IMO.

It’s been a rough day so far.

We headed to Soarin first bc it was a 15 minute wait. It changed to 40 as soon as we got there.

Next up.

Then we went to Nemo-20 minute wait. After 20 minutes of not moving we bailed so we wouldn’t be late for our lunch reservation.

Don’t worry, we weren’t. When we got there we were told they were having technical difficulties & were canceling all reservations.

I know R is disappointed. He has yet to eat here & really wanted to.

Even though they cancelled our reservation the app wasn’t reflecting it & I wouldn’t let us make another one for a different place.

While J & I went on MS R & E came to Ale & Compass to get a reservation.
