Bill Nye/Innoventions Commercial

I seem to remember a Bill Nye exhibit/video in Innoventions, located in the dome currently used by Segway Central or a similar one nearby. That would've been when I went there on a 3rd grade trip around 94/95. I remember not wanting to leave Innoventions after I found the Star Wars X-Wing computer game, and my mom had to bribe me to leave for the rest of the park. Great find, brings back a lot of memories!

There was a Bill Nye exhibit but it wouldn't be in any of those areas. Innoventions was pretty much gutted and redone for the Millennium Celebration. The Segway dome was created for the Mission:Space preview if I'm not mistaken...

Thanks for the info. I just assumed it was the same dome because I remember a similar looking one being in there from that trip.

At 0:24 I'm pretty sure that is footage of Aladdin's magic carpet ride from DQ... unless they moved it to DQ from innoventions. Could be wrong since I was just starting middle school in the mid 90's, and I used to shoot straight for the sega games...what a waste of my time LOL!

Ah, Innoventions '94. Back when Epcot still had some educational meaning to it. That place was packed! Every corner you turned you would find something new and exciting to do or see. And the place seemed huge. And, of course, SEGA! everywhere! I would stay there for hours and play Sonic games on the Genesis or the Game Gear, even the Nomad! Actually, this was the first place I ever got to play the Dreamcast. Man, I miss those days. Good times for all.

Innoventions today sucks big. It's nothing more than an escape from the heat.

I do like the last line Bill says: "It's Epcot like you've never seen it before!" But from this line you can tell WDW was really trying to push away from the 80's educational image of EPCOT Center.
