Nope! It is indeed the Soaring Show building.
I raise you this....
They're both totally not ripoffs or anything...
Forgot about that ugly cake. I guess I was able to blissfully suppress my memory of that abomination! If we could dig into the past the biggest eyesore in the history of WDW has to be the cake castle.
Former Imagineer Rick Rothschild was the Creative Director for Fly Over Canada.I'm surprised that Disney didn't sic their lawyers on them, especially with Canada using the distinctive glider logo.

I keep thinking that CMs should just make the tower part of the Liberty Square story until the trees grow in.It's a tie between the BAH and Rapunzel's Tower in MK. BAH I think would fit nicely in Downtown Disney.
The Rapunzel Tower wouldn't look so bad if it was covered by more trees near The Haunted Mansion area. The mansion looks almost overshadowed by it, not to mention it ruined the transition from Liberty Square to Fantasyland.
Anyone can buy a Vekoma Paniramic Flight Simulator. Not many other uses for them. And that makes it okay for them to copy a ride designed specifically for Disney?
If that's the case, then I'm totally putting "Mount McKinley Bobsleds" in the park that might exist. Someday.

What Vekoma sells operates differently than Soarin' and does not do what is demonstrated by the Erector set. I do not know how the relationship is arranged regarding the system and if Vekoma copied or was involved with Disney.Ah. I was under the impression that it was Disney Imagineering who designed the thing and then contracted Vekoma to build it.
At least that's what they led us to believe when whatsisname whipped out his Erector set for the History Channel.
That's at DL right?
You know, I'm not sure. I'll have to check further now that you asked. Either way, true Disney magic there....That's at DL right?
Yeah, I think it's at DL. Micechat posted an update with photos. Ever since The big safety crackdown at Disneyland, they haven't been able to clean the mountain until all new safety railings are permanently installed without risking liability. You can see a temporary safety railing in the picture. Still an eyesore...ughYou know, I'm not sure. I'll have to check further now that you asked. Either way, true Disney magic there....
Yeah, I didn't pull it from them, but on Twitter. But an eyesore indeed....Yeah, I think it's at DL. Micechat posted an update with photos. Those look like parade barricades. They are free standing and would hardly prevent injury is someone is sliding down the slope of Space Mountain!
