Biggest AP discount you have had?

Considering doing the Annual Pass discount. I have seen that you can get up to 45% off sometimes. I was just wondering what was the biggest $$$ you have saved with an AP and what time of year was it that you got it? Has anyone really haved 45%????

We did our first ever AP discount this past trip, checking in on the day after Christmas, 12/26, which was the very last day you could check in and get an AP rate.

This was HUGE!!! We booked a vacation for 8 or 9 nights at Yacht Club. We paid 182/night WITH the tax included!! And to make matters even better, when we checked in and eventually got to our room, we discovered we had a 4th floor Lake View room. It was phenomenal and the absolute biggest discount we have gotten anywhere. The rack rate for water view at Holiday Time is 525/night, or something outrageous like that. Our room only packagae for YC last year, during Christmas-New Years week, was super cheap. It was unbelievable and something my dad bragged to our family and friends about--he must have hit the right reservationalist at the right time!! Whew!

Here's hoping for another miracle this Christmas!!!!

Stayed at an All-Star resort for $49 a night. Got to stay for 8 nights for a little over $400 dollars. That was awesome and well worth the money :sohappy:

Hi there, My understanding is that the AP discount is the best regularly available discount, except for the Florida resident discount which is a little bit more. It is usually between 35-40% off the rack rates and in the case of Surfsupdon, he REALLY lucked out by getting a lake view room!!! Good job there Don!!! Belle

Belle, you're right, we lucked out hardcore!!! We were expecting to stay at CBR, and when the rest of the family went downstairs after my dad hung up the phone with the CM, he had a shocked and happy look on his face and said "We got Yacht Club" and after he told us the price, I could not believe it. However it happened, it sure was magical. Man, I hope there's more of those codes out there!!!

Does anyone know when AP codes usually come out for Dec.? We are going from the 6th-13th, already have ressies, getting AP soon.

Going on July 1 for six nights, staying at at the Caribbean Beach for 93.00 a night if i booked today it would be 160 a night

Received a 50% rate for the contemporary once. But I think bookings may have been down at the time and they were giving heavey discounts.

We just made reservations to arrive this coming Monday. I saved $110.00 a night at Fort Wilderness.
