I might be in the minority here, but I don’t love the exploding dynamite finale at Disneyland. It’s kinda fun, it’s unique, but I like the lack of projections at Disney World… would be cool if they could plus the finale lift hill while keeping a finale similar to what we had.
Disneyland's used to have a smoke effect that went with the explosion projections, but I haven't seen it work in awhile and the overall experience falls a little flat without it. Part of me hopes Magic Kingdom's fixes the earthquake and moving/falling boulders effect in the finale lift hill. That used to be so effective and intimidating to me as a kid. And would be easy to tie into the storyline of the forces of the mountain fighting back.

What was overpromised? They were all but silent about it until a week ago when they released a single picture and a color edit of it. Both this and TT3.0 have had endless handwringing about the lack of news.
For a company that bends over backwards to highlight the littlest special detail, which they did for BTM, to now go silent is very telling.

Disney doesn’t EVER accidentally omit anything coming out of PR and marketing.

They never accidentally omit anything yet somehow accidentally published something? Or did you mean "retract"/"remove" instead of "omit"? This description has only existed for a week. I doubt the scope of the work changed in that time. I also don't get what you mean about "now going silent". They've been quiet about it and a few other recent projects the entire time.

Gonna bet the farm they come through on the concept?

Isn’t it supposed to be almost done? No changes now. Takes them 2 years to design a sink next to a trash can

Yup, even BlogMickey wrote in their article that the edited description could mean that nothing will be done to the finale. Really is a shame to see a site that used to be a trusted news source go the route of Inside the Magic.
I don’t see anything wrong with that. This very site wrote a headline asking if early entry might go away at WDW because it did at Disneyland. (It’s already been reported as returning next year.) They all speculate to a degree

What concept are you talking about? I have never claimed that anything is happening other than the single announced scene change. You stated that they were overpromising and underdelivering, yet only one very minor thing has been publicly promised.

Reading is your friend. Please point out where I said any additional changes were happening.

I definitely would prefer we have something unique here vs there. Get people thinking something got "cut" but maybe it is still happening or maybe it was never planned (some will assume the worst scenario of course) ... Obviously "something" will be happening based on what is already shared. Hope it is sufficiently impressive be it utilize dynamite or not
