I'm telling you, TBA's unreliability is a big part of their haste on this. I wouldn't be surprised if it reopens by December at this rate.

Probably not. This is probably just them retracking adding the dynamite effect from Disneyland and calling it a day. Maybe we get the rainbow cavern scene.

Unfortunately I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s the case even though I hope it’s not. A refresh of the cavern scene with the waterfall and colorful pools would be welcome.

Also the continuous train chugging sounds you hear on-ride at Anaheim as of 2014….could we get those too?

I would say if we get the rainbow cavern scene we’ll have the second best big thunder mountain.

I hope so, it’s fun to see stuff move along quickly. Always kind of frustrating when stuff sits visually complete for a while before opening!

If the track progress is moving faster - great. But I never expected much more other than cleaning and repair of old theming and effect changes in the final lift. I don’t think any of these changes to effects are hard. So it’s not impossible that replacements for older effects could already be at the install phase. I assume these props and effects were pre built last year and awaiting install.

Yeah no I’m happy that they’re moving quickly to get this done. Thank god it’s not taking like 2-3 years. I’m just worried if this pace means they won’t be giving attention to atmosphere in other areas like the rainbow pools in the cavern or the train sound effects (I mentioned this before but I’ll keep it short). God I hope I’m overthinking.

I feel like this is going significantly faster than expected. Maybe I'm wrong but I don't feel like they've put this much speed into a project in a LONG time.
