Big Thunder Mountain Refurb?

In all fairness, it keeps discussions ongoing and ensures they arn`t clogged with the same topic.

But if people want to have a discussion about a topic on a discussion board, it is counter productive to the whole concept. Not everyone can keep up with all of the threads. and search can only help so much.

Remember this is a large crown of people, in a large crowd you can have many people having the same discussion about politics, it does not mean that people should go around the room saying, "We can't talk about that because they already are having that conversation over in that part of the room."

Sorry, it's a pet peeve that I have. People ask a question because they want to know or they just want to chat about it.

Here's an idea though, replaced the bats on string with some funky coloured projection effects of bats flying around. Might look more dynamic and realistic.

Good idea, that would look great! Strange, I'm actually wanting screen technology for once.

Maybe thay could install some music
Maybe smoe music like this

Hmm... I don't think BTMRR needs music. Its more of a sound effects driven ride.

Really? What makes you say that....I would think the sound adds to the anticipation.
Yes and no. My anticipation going up the lift hill at E:E is different than that of going up the clackity clackitly lift hill of SM or BTMRR. The noise has simply been associated with a lift hill because it has been there on virtually every coaster ever made. Now that it does not have to be there it can be removed where appropriate. SM and BTMRR are two coasters that come to mind where it would appropriate to remove it and replace it with something else. An old woody would be an example of an instance where removing it would not be beneficial.

Master Yoda said it best, but allow me to wax philosophical imagineering-wise for a moment...

The reason why the sound of Anti-Rollback chains is something to be avoided is part of the imagineering difference. As Joe Rhode said "Anyone can buy a Roller Coaster, throw some rocks around it and call it Grand Adventure of the Himalayas. But that's not what we do here. We have a story to tell." And that's what makes little things and the buzz word "Put up some more themeing up" as used around here not accurate and ultimately unimportant. Theme is a broad concept, from that you hang a story, from that you build the ride. People who call these rides "A roller coaster in the dark" are complaining, only because their too jaded to see what's in front of them. A story. Even when ROLLER COASTER is in the name, such as Rock N Roller Coaster, Imagineering doesn't build Roller Coasters. They use Roller Coasters as a mean to tell stories. Such as a euphoric midnight rush on the freeway in a Limo to a Concert. A steam donkey struggling to cross a chasam heading towards Forbidden Mountain. A couple's dream of a wacky dinosaur utopia for weary travelers. A journey through time and space. This is what seperates, and has since bobsleds came whizzing down the Mighty Matterhorn in 1959, a Roller Coaster from a DISNEY Roller Coaster.
