Big Thunder Mountain Refurb Updates?

Does anyone have any information detailing exactly what they are updating at BTMR? Were there any plans to update the track? I know some effects (rocks etc) needed work, but what else are they changing?

Significant work was needed on the track and infrastructure. 30 years in the Floridian climate has not been kind to it.

when i was there at the beginning of the week i went on the WDW rail road which runs right along the side of big thunder mountain, when i went by i saw that the man that spins in the bath tub and other props around there were removed, also the track that he spins on was removed, and it was replaced with a themed box. I was just wondering if any body knows if they took it out of the attraction completely or they are just refurbishing him
