I have a little surprise planned for my husband in February. He thinks we are going from the 7-14 but I am extending the trip a few days for our anniversary on the 14th. We are staying at Pop Century for the week (first time we are going to be there for my birthday, too!!) and I am going to make him think we are packing up to drive to the airport but take him to the Beach Club for a few nights. I hope I can keep it in that long!! :zipit:

back in 1989 my parents took my sister and i to the nearest (and only) Disney Store. we were young and they bought the passes and then in the food court of the mall, told us that we were going to Disney World the next day.

and we didn't believe them  in fact, we didn't believe them until we were halfway there!

You know mom, I really do not know what you have in plan for me, but I do not think that it is going to be fun...wait, what am I talking about? Anything at Disney is fun, but I am 99.99% possitive that may face will be red.

enjoy your trip! Let us know how it went when you get back:)

Oh, I definately will post a report with pictures. It was so funny last night. My 14 yo daughter called me into the living room to see the SGE preview that they were showing on the Disney Channel. We watched it and I said, Oh, well, maybe we can see it next October if we can go then. I turned around and smiled at my wife. :xmas: :zipit:

Back in 1995, my parents also gave my sister and myself a suprise trip to WdW. We had gone the year before, so we should not have been going back for 2 more years. That is how it always had been. However, that was not the case. We were told that we were going to Busch Gardens Va. Normally we would leave our house in baltimore at 5 to avoid traffic in DC. However, this year my father had us leave at 4am. His reasoning was "there is more constuction this year." Me being all bu 14 years old, how would I have known any better? The actuall reason was, by waking us up that early, We slept right through the exit for Busch Gardens. Around 11, my sister was complaining that my dad was lost. Why was it taking so long? Ect. Ect... Not too long after, we crossed the S.C. state line. And my mom said, "South Carolina? Oh well, I guess we should just continue on to Fl. now"
And we did. :)
