"Big Hero 6" presence in Disney World?

Big Hero 6 Box Office numbers isn't going to do anything for helping Streets of America based on Star Wars Land isn't headed to Streets of America based on the plans last I heard. Echo Lake is going to be affected by Star Wars Land.

Star Wars Land Plans actually affect Sounds Dangerous Building, American Idol Experience building, Backlot Express located on Echo Lake, and Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular.

Streets of America was supposed to be affected by a Pixar Expansion that involves Cars, but Disney decided not do that last year.
If maelstroms life support is proving anything box office numbers indeed talk.

For the love of Galactus, they better not even THINK of using the Japan pavilion for their heavy handed marketing! The film isn't even based in Japan, just a city that mixes elements from that environment. Hiro and Baymax belong in the animation building just like all the other Disney animated films of recent (with the exception of Frozen, but we all know how that turned out). I'll be interested to see how well this film does. It seems to me they're missing a big opportunity by not having the word "Marvel" present somewhere in the advertising, even if it just says "inspired by the Marvel comic". Considering the general audience has no idea what this property is, that might hurt ticket sales a bit.
Didn't me and you already have a huge discussion about the lack of marvel being in the title? lol Anyways I don't think they belong in japan, but Disney hasn't been the brightest with their meet and greets lately. So only time will tell. Again I would much rather prefer them on San Francisco street as it would give that area some life during the day.

It's a possibility that we did....

It seems like I'm complaining about Marvel every other day now, so I tend to get confused:p

I don't know nuthin' about Big Hero 6, but from the looks of the posters I wouldn't be surprised to see them in Tomorrowland

I doubt they would do the meet & greet on Streets of America, given that the film is going to be released right in the middle of Osbourne Lights season. Even if they only greet guests during daylight hours when it's not especially crowded back there, they'd still all the ugly infrastructure for the lights in the background of the photos

My bet is they'll be in the (climate controlled) Animation Buidling

Same with me...as much as I love anything comic book/graphic novel related, this hasn't done anything for me yet.

I keep getting this one trick pony vibe with all the jokes of Baymax fumbling around with random things.

Yeah, and the early trailers for Frozen had you thinking the movie was all about the snowman and his reindeer sidekick. How much money did that make again?

Frozen's box office intake is an anomaly.

This film isn't a musical, and it won't have the cash cow market of Disney princesses to put it in the same realm financially.

Also, those Frozen ads early on contained footage that was never meant to be a part of the film. Big Hero 6's trailer footage is from the film. And it doesn't look very good.

Well, people were initially unimpressed with Tangled's early trailers, and that did very well too.

Rope off that section during the day, have the backdrop of San Francisco in the background and shut it down before night. It's totally doable! I really don't think that small meet and greet area can handle the lines that are going to show up for baymax, because let's face I think any of us would freak if we saw his character done to justice in any of the parks.

We have only seen 1 trailer that showed just 1 interaction and 1 comedy scene. Hardly enough material to judge the movie off of considering how there are 5 members who didn't get any real screen time as their superhero selves. I am calling it that this film is going to be great. The japanese trailer gave us a glimpse at the heart of this movie. Now I am with everyone else when I saw that the first frozen trailer was crap, but if the first trailer from this film impressed me, I can't help but think the end product should be spectacular. Plus it's been so long since we had such a diverse cast up there from Disney animation that I already think of this film as a win win.

It will do good at the box office I say numbers like wreck it Ralph. Both play to the same audience which is kids and nerds. Not in a bad way I am a huge nerd to. I like big hero 6 in comics not my favorite by far but it is ok I just don't like what they did to fredzilla he looks weird.

They didn't want to risk the attentions of Toho's lawyers (who are about as fierce and lawsuit happy as Disney's) and decided to go for an "Ultraman Enemy"/Weird Kaiju Vinyl Toy route with Fred.

In the poster he doesn't look big I at least he gets to a big size he looks like a dog chew toy r something. I understand not to make him look like the comics but man talk about a difference I hope he is not comic relief.

I'm giving this movie the benefit of the doubt until I see it in full. I like what I've seen so far from the trailer.

I just saw a trailer before Guardians of the Galaxy, and I swore it said something about being based on a Marvel Comic, but it was the first time I saw it in any promo.
