Dreamfinder? I doubt that....kids didnt connect with them as well as they did with Figment....and he really wouldnt fit into the new theme...they already have a new "Human" character...

When I become an Imagineer, you'll see him. He won't have a prominent role, but you'll sure see him! :animwink:

LoL...keep reaching for that star...

I certainly hope, though, that they add back the track that they removed. Anyone know anything of the new plotline? I hope the new rumor of Figment being "imagination institute property" is just that. . . or I"m going on a WDW exec hunting trip :fork:

Well get your hunting gear ready I found out today that they are straightening out a section of track to rotate the cars a certain way. SO technically the new ride will be even SHORTER! ( Only just a foot or two though.) thought you guys might like to know.

Naaah--that's not that great of a concern (just as long as they can manage a decent, full ride in the amount of time on the track). I'm just worried about the level of diginity that they'r going to keep (or lower, but hopefully not) figment on. Although a longer ride might be nice. . .

I hope they don't give Dr. Niles Channing (Eric Idle) a bigger role than Figment because it would be chaotic. He can stay in Honey... or Monty Python...but don't mess up with Figment!!!

Mr. Channing...grrr...makes me think of the Institute ride...I hate it. It's a terrible theme...I like it more where you are in the imagination, not inside an institute... Come back, Dreamfinder :(

(NOTE: THIS CONTAINS SOME NICE JII INFO, REHABS, REFURBISHEMENTS, NEWS, DESCRIPTIONS, AND GREAT NEWS FOR PEOPLE WHO LIKED EPCOT 20 YEARS AGO!)

Anyway, off to El Rio Del Tiempo! I noticed that the Mexico pavilion didn't have the arch going across the front like they had in the years packed. Upon entering, I noticed that they placed a new exhibit in the opening room - it was called "Animales Fantasticos", meaning imaginary animals. Going through were the glass cases with sculptures of all kinds of imaginary animals.
You went last december right? Did you go into the mexico pavillion then because those Animales Fantasticos have been there since janurary 2003 or even before that. Did you get a chance to pick one of those up? Well, when I did I saw the price to those. I also had a heart attack when I saw the price. Considering I live next to the border, those animales fantasticos cost 5 to 20 bucks over here. And Panchos aren't worth 50 dollars >_> They're around 10 bucks crossing the bridge. LOL! Disney has to make money somewhere right?
BTW, THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL INFO! =)

Actually it wasn't bad that you resurrected an old thread. Gives us a chance to remember the days of the "newest news" at that time.
